Chuck Schumer says he will try to temporarily replace Dianne Feinstein on the Judiciary Committee with Ben Cardin

@washingtonpost Republicans aren't going to allow this. Schumer needs to lead and pressure Feinstein to resign.

If GOP adamantly opposes temporary replacements, Why not "permanently" replace Feinstein, with the unspoken agreement that the replacement would step aside if she should return? make the gop admit, they're just not going to allow the committee to function at all.

Maybe he needs to do this to prove to Senator Feinstein that she HAS to resign.

She almost ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD!! My goodness gracious. RETIRE!! These old folks are so selfish. No wonder these kids are taking to the streets in a fit of rage.

How about sending a private plane and an aide in order for the Senator to return to Washington? @SenSchumer
