You can’t secretly record a prank and play it later without prior notice/consent. Violating this has led to fines (e.g., thousands of dollars per incident). These are all fake. Every single one you hear.

These radio prank phone calls are all fake. The FCC cracked down on them 30 years ago because anyone that’s on the radio has to be told they’re on the radio in advance to avoid lawsuits. Every single one you hear is not real. They’re phone actors and they get paid.
