He says it himself; the MODEL used to simplify the equation (used a flat non rotating earth).. and the word firmament is still used as a general term for anything beyond the atmosphere. Although those documents seem to be from the 50's.. a time when religion was still strong.

Hmmmm, I never considered the "firmament" to be tangible but more of a rather undefined spaced - but after listening and looking it up, it seems that is part of the accepted definition.

If the earth was flat and non rotating. There would be no need to specify that in their internal docs. It’s far more likely that they used “flat and non rotating”simply because they were excluding curvature and rotation from whatever calculations they were working on.

It's one thing to read documents.. but if you can't interpret them in their context it's quite pointless. I wonder if this guy is for real or just playing mind games with those who believe science stopped centuries ago.
