TikTok1, I want you to know that, this morning I received messages and calls from neighbours in Westlands, where I own a property, about flooding inside the compound. ( That Mvua Mdogo, you said ) In all the years since these houses were built in the early 80s, they have stood firm and never suffered such damage. They were built to last, and they have lasted, until now. The unplanned high-rises have been springing up all around our property for the past couple of years. Construction is happening beacon to beacon, without proper infrastructure, drainage, or consideration for existing homes. This reckless building is choking the systems that once worked, and now homes that survived four decades of Nairobi weather are being flooded. The video shared by a neighbour speaks for itself. Houses are flooded, tenants are distressed, and I now face a tenant who was meant to move in this month asking questions about safety. Who will compensate us? Who takes responsibility for the chaos caused by careless approvals and construction without planning for basic infrastructure? I thought a lot in these days to write about what happened in the past days, but because i saw them already lying (looks like to be liar is their inner nature) i will talk about the bad behavior and disrespect of cpf fans aka #bjyx or #yizhan during the days of mfw. I think everyone can stay outside the shows to see their favorite celebrities but respect should be the main value to follow, you are there for Xiao Zhan, he is doing his work, why are you bringing irrelevant people into HIS JOB EVENT?! Why do you want to push your fanfictions into his face? Why have you to disturb the common order of everyone there? Even people from other fandoms were shocked by their behavior! I will divide everything into 3 chapters - - 25th G show. They found a spot and attach a dirty banner and even G brand staff came out from the event asking to the removal of their disgusting banner and brought it away. I add also video of the fact. The cpf tried also to disguise herself wearing a red jacket, but she was not happy, the moment G brand staff went away with the banner, instead to be ashamed, she brought out new banners, with the visible surname of another person and their yellow colors! She also argued for long with a poor security guy who was really done So are you there for what? To see someone you claim to be fan or just for a selfish pleasure being disrespectful towards xz?!? - 27th we organized a loch special screening in a cinema, we were us xfx + some passerby we invited, the hall was private booked and it was totally filled. I have seen some people circulating a 2017 screenshot, claiming that I am lying and pretending when I say that Baba was my friend and that I was like his daughter. In 2017, we were on different political sides. Like in any heated political contest, many things were said in the course of political banter, something both Baba and Uhuru openly acknowledged and apologised for, including on behalf of their supporters. From November 2018, I began working closely with Baba, shortly after his appointment as AU’s High Representative for Infrastructure Development. At the time, I was with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), and our office supported his role. I was also part of his 2022 campaign, and in 2024 he personally appointed me into his AUC campaign team. Over a period of 7 years, I had the privilege of learning directly from him. He gave me numerous opportunities, travelled with me across Africa and beyond, and allowed me to sit in high-level meetings that shaped my perspective and growth. That was Baba! A man who never judged me by my tribe or my previous political positions. He saw my potential and gave me an opportunity. He often expressed how proud he was of my work and my convictions. The last time we spoke was on 8th October 2025, while he was still in India, a week before he passed on. I even made a post about that conversation on the same day. That was Baba…my friend! So, to those trying to twist this story to fit a convenient political narrative I will ask, WHO TOLD YOU? Do you claim to know me better than Baba did? And isn’t the same Ruto you now support the one who once called Baba all manner of names? Did he ever publicly apologise the way Baba and Uhuru did? What exactly explains this selective memory, this hypocrisy and these double standards? All in all, yesterday I was in Kisumu, and was so overwhelmed by the love that was expressed. On the way to the rally, so many young people kept calling me by name and saying how much they love me for supporting Baba. Others were even calling me msichana ya Baba. This is the real ground!

So two Brits do their best to relocate to Australia and set up a new life for themselves and due to a company closing + Visa issues they have to return to the UK People make out it’s easy to just up sticks and leave but I’m telling you from experience it’s really not unless you have a skill that’s in high demand or get married etc “Never in my life did I think I would post this. But here it is: I am leaving Australia. My chosen home. The place that shaped me. The place I thought I would grow old in. It still feels unreal. But sometimes life turns around and has different plans for us. What happened: my partner and I were on a sponsor visa and about to get our permanent residency in March 2026. A few months ago we got the news that his company was sold. At the same time, his occupation was removed from the visa list, which meant there was no real way for us to apply for another visa. There were other options to get PR, but after four years of working hard and spending a lot of money, we both didn’t feel ready to start another process. So we decided to take it as a sign and leave Australia. But the closer the day comes, the sadder I feel. To leave my home, my apartment, my people and the life I built here. For some it’s just a country, but for me it’s the life I created that I now have to say goodbye to. And honestly it’s breaking my heart 💔 #australia #permanentrresidency #movingabroad #expat #expatlife”

Whenever I’m discouraged, I’ll remember that ~4,000 Christian women from across the country gathered to be challenged by Biblical truth, bolstered by earnest worship, & buoyed by Christian friendship. No fluff. No emotional manipulation. None of the superficial stuff so many Christian women are fed. Every speaker went full throttle in telling these women - with gentleness and love - what is good, right, and true about God, sin, holiness, sexuality, femininity, abortion, motherhood, marriage, and so much more. All of the messages I’ve received from attendees have been incredibly meaningful, but this one sums up the consensus nicely: “Walked out of there with ZERO fear of man.” Praise God! That has nothing to do with me or anyone else. It’s just the Holy Spirit doing what He does. And He was with us yesterday. It was palpable. Whenever I’m asked about my audience, I always tell people that they’re the kind of women you’d want to babysit your kids. Just the best people. Kind, grounded, thoughtful, wise. So many moms and babies were there. This message meant so much to me: “We couldn't stop talking about how many babies were there and how amazing the space was set up for nursing and pumping. It was so different than any other women's event when it came to those accommodations and how welcomed the sweet little babies were.” And this one: “Someone held my fussy baby for me so l could listen to worship. Never met them, but the sweetest lady. I was so thankful.” Women came alone and left with best friends. Others wept while they worshiped and were held and prayed for by the strangers next to and behind them. God is kind, and He is up to good things. If you only look to the news or X to tell you what’s going on, you might miss the biggest and best things happening. I’ll tell you this: God’s eternal plan of redemption is going off without a hitch, and He’s going to win in the end. Soli Deo Gloria!

Every speaker went full throttle in telling these women - with gentleness and love - what is good, right, and true about God, sin, holiness, sexuality, femininity, abortion, motherhood, marriage, and so much more. All of the messages I’ve received from attendees have been incredibly meaningful, but this one sums up the consensus nicely: “Walked out of there with ZERO fear of man.” Praise God! That has nothing to do with me or anyone else. It’s just the Holy Spirit doing what He does. And He was with us yesterday. It was palpable. Whenever I’m asked about my audience, I always tell people that they’re the kind of women you’d want to babysit your kids. Just the best people. Kind, grounded, thoughtful, wise. So many moms and babies were there. This message meant so much to me: “We couldn't stop talking about how many babies were there and how amazing the space was set up for nursing and pumping. It was so different than any other women's event when it came to those accommodations and how welcomed the sweet little babies were.” And this one: “Someone held my fussy baby for me so l could listen to worship. Never met them, but the sweetest lady. I was so thankful.” Women came alone and left with best friends. Others wept while they worshiped and were held and prayed for by the strangers next to and behind them. God is kind, and He is up to good things. If you only look to the news or X to tell you what’s going on, you might miss the biggest and best things happening. I reported my abuse in 2010. I decided that day I need to get justice. I drove down to Coventry from Huddersfield, walked into Little park street police station and made my complaint. Over 3 days I did multiple interviews in special units in Coventry and Halifax. I had to take myself back and relive the trauma, and at times I felt I was there again re living everything. Lucky for me all the files from the children's home of the groomers turning up, ringing the unit phones was very well documented in my daily staff logs which are in archive in Coventry city Council buildings for 70 years. Also Coventry Evening Telegraph did a piece on me in 1999. They sent an undercover journalist into my children's home who then reported about the groomers calling us on the units phone and collecting us. The men also made telephone cards with thier numbers on advertising me which were found by the staff. Despite all this this, and hospital reports of some of my attacks 3 or 4 months into the investigation, my case was closed down. I gave up. Now I have hope. All the proof is there. For the first time in 30 years I feel like im going to be heard, and those responsible will face justice. The life long damage this has done to me has been difficult to live with, as ive also lost a baby girl who was forced adopted because the UK social services believed I would never be able to parent because of the damage caused. Imagine, I gave birth and they walked into the delivery room and took her even before the placenta was delivered. UK social services have alot to answer to. Locking us victims up for months at a time to keep us safe....but groomers allowed to roam free. Today my journey for justice really begins. Before I was a soldier, I traveled frontline areas, mostly in Donetsk Oblast, to bring food and water to civilians living under russian terror - for 2 years. Sergei helped me find the animals and people in Sivers’k who needed help the most, in the areas of the city that was usually off limits. On April 14th,2024 Sergei and three others were murdered by russians. Their only crime, being Ukrainian on Ukrainian soil. There were no names but I instantly knew he was gone. russians will call this land their own and say they are liberating these people but he was buried with a Ukrainian flag because he was a Ukrainian man in Ukraine. The biggest enemy to the Kremlin. Two weeks later I went to visit his grave and I found Елка, russian for Christmas Tree, sitting 100m meters from his grave, waiting near the entrance of his usual place of work. I brought her home and found his family but his wife and child are living in an IDP centre, their lives uprooted by war, and they can’t take her in. Now Julie is mine. A constant reminder of why I am here, why I am fighting and why no matter what propagandists will tell you about Donetsk Oblast, it’s all just Kremlin bullshit. The most common theme with these Vatniks is that they will say anything to blame anyone else but the people who are guilty of the crimes. Exposing Fraud and Crime in the Migrant Crisis: What I Found and the Retaliation That Followed : Exclusive During my investigation into the migrant crisis, a staff member at a taxpayer-funded shelter came forward with allegations of widespread fraud, including no-show jobs, empty rooms being billed, and expenses unrelated to migrant services. According to sources, the no-show positions alone were costing taxpayers millions of dollars per month, amounting to tens of millions annually. I believe this represented only a small portion of a much larger problem tied to migrant contracts. Some shelter rules appeared structured in ways that limited law enforcement involvement or meaningful oversight, allowing criminal enterprises to continue operating unchecked. It often felt as though one arm of the system was undermining the other—despite both operating under the same authority. After I published the reporting on fraud and criminal activity, the response from some at City Hall shifted sharply. Messages went unanswered. Calls were ignored. Requests for information were met with silence. My primary contacts and sources within City Hall cut me off completely after the stories were released. Some people I approached for questions and information no longer responded—no more information was coming in. We said goodbye to our beloved Odom last night as it was his time to go. To say I am devastated would be an understatement because that dog has saved my life more times than I could even begin to fathom. To be with him at the end of his amazing life was an honor I do not take for granted. Most of my days and routines over the last few years were centered around him and ensuring that he received what he needed. Whether it was receiving insulin for his diabetes at the same times every day or planning walks and meals to accommodate what worked best for him, my schedule revolved around what he needed. To some, this might seem like a nuisance. For me, it made me better. I made his routines my routines. Walking him twice a day gave me time to reflect and appreciate all of the good in my life. Planning time for his exercise ensured I did the same for myself. Being immediately anchored by his weight on a walk because he wanted to appreciate something he had noticed taught me to slow down and take in moments in a way I wasn’t used to. His routine was my routine, and it made me better. When I first saw him at the Edmonton Humane Society Society, I wasn’t ready for a dog. My brother Alec was there, and he saw me with Odom, and he knew that I was in love immediately. I didn’t find Odom, but Odom found me. I left, not taking him home and immediately knew it was a mistake, and that he was meant to be in my life. I went to the Edmonton Humane Society the next day, 30 minutes before it opened, to ensure that I would be the first person to go through the doors. I headed straight for where Odom was, and he came home with me that day. With all of the ups and downs I have had in my life since, my love and pride in that dog were a constant. I am terribly sad, and I am taking solace in this quote from Andrew Garfield on grief: “This is all the unexpressed love, the grief that will remain with us until we pass because we never get enough time with each other, no matter if someone lives till 60, 15, or 99.” I love that dog because that dog loved me. I headed straight for where Odom was, and he came home with me that day. With all of the ups and downs I have had in my life since, my love and pride in that dog were a constant. I am terribly sad, and I am taking solace in this quote from Andrew Garfield on grief: “This is all the unexpressed love, the grief that will remain with us until we pass because we never get enough time with each other, no matter if someone lives till 60, 15, or 99.” I love that dog because that dog loved me. Reshaping previous ideas on the story of civilisation, Gobekli Tepe in Türkiye was built by a prehistoric people 6,000 years before Stonehenge... Atop a limestone plateau near Urfa called Gobekli Tepe, Turkish for "Belly Hill", Schmidt discovered more than 20 circular stone enclosures. The largest was 20m across, a circle of stone with two elaborately carved pillars 5.5m tall at its centre. The carved stone pillars – eerie, stylised human figures with folded hands and fox-pelt belts – weighed up to 10 tons. Carving and erecting them must have been a tremendous technical challenge for people who hadn't yet domesticated animals or invented pottery, let alone metal tools. The structures were 11,000 years old, or more, making them humanity's oldest known monumental structures, built not for shelter but for some other purpose. Two stone giants sit in the Egyptian desert. Each was carved from a single block of stone, weighs 720 tons, and was dragged 420 miles from its quarry. They are so large that, three and a half thousand years later, you can still see them from more than 10 miles away... They are called the Colossi of Memnon, and they were built around 1350 BC by the pharaoh Amenhotep III to guard the entrance of his mortuary temple on the west bank of the Nile, opposite modern-day Luxor. Each Colossus stands 18 metres (60 ft) tall, including its plinth. They were carved from a stone called quartzite sandstone, quarried at el-Gabal el-Ahmar, the Red Mountain, near modern-day Cairo. The southern statue is a single, unbroken block. The northern was cracked by an earthquake in 27 BC and partially rebuilt in the Roman era. Quartzite sits at 7 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. The Egyptians who built the Colossi were a Bronze Age culture. Their chisels were made of copper and bronze, which register around 3 to 4 on the Mohs scale. They could not have cut the stone directly. The mainstream answer is that they did it by abrasion. According to archaeologists, they used small handheld stones harder than quartzite, mixed with sand and water, and slowly ground the figures out of the block by hand... Each finished statue weighs 720 tons, roughly the weight of a hundred adult elephants. They were quarried near Cairo and installed near Luxor, 420 miles south. The Nile flows northward, which means a river journey would have required moving the stones against the current. Many experts believe that the stones are too heavy to have been transported upstream on the Nile. Some Egyptologists argue, instead, that the blocks were dragged overland on wooden sleds for the entire 420 miles. Whatever happened in the desert thirty-four centuries ago, and however it happened, the result is harder to argue with than any explanation. The statues still stand. And I think that is the most astonishing thing of all: they have stood through every empire that has tried to outlive them. The Colossi were already standing when Tutankhamun was born. They were standing when Alexander entered Egypt. They were standing when Cleopatra met Caesar. They were standing when Roman tourists climbed up to scratch their names into the plinth. 💔 A Plea from a Father Exhausted by War 💔 I am a father of a family of eight. I lost my job because of the war and have become unable to provide even the most basic necessities for my children. We are living through extremely difficult days, and only God knows the bitterness of what we are enduring. My fear for my children grows with each passing day. My youngest child is suffering from a severe skin rash, and the doctor has warned me that treatment must be provided urgently before it spreads to my other children. Yet I stand helpless before this pain, unable to afford the treatment or even the basic needs of my family. For a very long time, we have not received a single donation. Honestly, I am exhausted from pleading and waiting. Sometimes I ask myself: Have we been forgotten? Why does no one feel the suffering of my children? What have they done to deserve this pain and deprivation? If you were in my place, what would you do? I feel ashamed to ask for help, but I have no other choice left. I don't believe in angels & fairies - but I encountered them myself in Norway. Still shaking my head in disbelief (and relief that angels do exist) At the fag end our Norway Updates drive through - my wife Nidhi & I were hiking to Preikestolen (the world famous #PulpitRock) close to the city of #Stavanger. It's a must do if you are in Norway - though it's not the easiest of hikes, especially if it has rained so much, making the terrain slippery. We took the chance, reached Pulpit Rock and enjoyed some amazing fjord views - on our way back however Nidhi's leg slipped and she seriously sprained / fractured her ankle. About 4 kilometres from civilisation, biting cold winds, rain fast approaching and unable to move - I was at my wits end on what to do next. However fellow hikers asked me to call 113 - assuring me that help will reach us. Really? With no other option - I called the emergency number with a lot of skepticism, but what happened next...showed me Norway's finest. Within minutes the responders had used my phone to pin my location and assured me help was on the way. In less than an hour - an ARMY of mountain rescuers - accompanied by doctors were with us. They examined Nidhi - put her leg in a vacuum bag - opened up a portable stretcher - and 6 super-humans carted Nidhi all the way to the base camp. All with a smile. Wait it gets better. While Nidhi & I were worried if we could even afford this rescue - we came to know that these angels were from the Norwegian People’s Aid Norsk Folkehjelp - an NGO that offers Rescue Service and First Aid to those in need - for free. Wait it gets even better. These rescuers were not part of any paid / professional team that was at the park / trail - they were normal working Norwegians who just land up to help when the need arises. One of the rescuers was a surveyor / another who has been doing this for 15 years - works in the petroleum industry! For a nation that spends so much time in rain / darkness - I came to understand why Norway is one of the happiest nations on the planet. Sent to us from an officer who told us this was filmed last Wednesday afternoon at Riverside Veterinary Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. Made us stop in our tracks and left us in TEARS. Here it is, in it's entirety: "The officer is Sergeant Paul Greer. He's 41 years old. Fourteen-year veteran of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The dog is Bruno. A ten-year-old German Shepherd who served eight years as Paul's K9 partner before a joint condition ended his working career two years ago. When Bruno retired from active duty, Paul adopted him immediately. Brought him home. Bruno spent his retirement on Paul's couch, on Paul's bed, in the passenger seat of Paul's personal truck. The transition from working partner to household companion was seamless. Bruno had always been Paul's dog. The badge and the vest were just part of the job. Over the past several months, Bruno's condition had declined steadily. The joint condition spread. He had difficulty getting up. Stopped eating regularly. Paul had been managing Bruno's comfort with guidance from Dr. Angela Reese at Riverside for months. Last Tuesday evening, Bruno stopped getting up entirely. Paul called Dr. Reese that night. Wednesday afternoon, Paul drove Bruno to Riverside. He carried Bruno in from the truck himself. Wouldn't let the techs take him. Paul's partner, Officer Dana Choi, came with him.
