They refused to give her a budget to make her debut album. She called them out, they parted ways with her. She started her own label and signed a distribution deal with another company; dropped her debut album, was successful. She just released her sophomore, THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, and it's been performing well in the charts. Her old label must feel stupid for holding back and artiste who could have profited them. I wonder why labels even sabotage their own roster? If you don't want the best for them why did you sign them then?
