I'll never forget the experience seeing this in the cinema the day of release in the UK.

A signature shot from Lee. We've seen this in Mo' Better Blues, Inside Man,& Black Klansman, great technique to communicate a pensive mind state.

I love the way Spike Lee directed this film as if he placed viewers into Brother Malcolm’s shoes. I wish Malcolm X had done what I may or may not have witnessed people do upon death threats against their lives—go and get them before they come and get you.
