🚨 UNESCO CONSIDERS RECOGNIZING AN ANCIENT JEWISH KINGDOM AS “PALESTINIAN HERITAGE” UNESCO is considering recognizing Sebastia, ancient Shomron, the capital of the Kingdom of Israel nearly 3,000 years ago, as “Palestinian heritage.” HUH?!? An agency created to protect world history is being used to strip one of Judaism’s most important ancient sites of its Jewish identity. Rebranding the capital of an ancient Jewish kingdom as a Palestinian heritage is ideological warfare against the Jewish people.

A demand was raised in the Rajya Sabha to rename Patna as Pataliputra. MP Upendra Kushwaha said that Pataliputra is a symbol of India's glorious history and cultural heritage, so the capital should be restored to its ancient name.

Combining bone-handled knives with branding and art requires refining raw nature into timeless craftsmanship. By treating the organic curves of bone as bespoke canvas, a brand elevates functional tools into sculptural heirlooms, blending rugged heritage with refined luxury. Artisanal Storytelling: Frame each natural texture as a unique artist signature, turning every knife into a limited-edition masterpiece. Heritage Meets Innovation: Contrast raw, traditional materials with precision engineering to signal enduring quality and modern luxury. Emotional Resonance: Position the piece not merely as a utensil, but as a heirloom bridging human history, fine art, and functional design. When nature’s raw geometry meets precision craftsmanship, a tool becomes a masterpiece. Every bone handle tells an unrepeatable story—where ancient organic form meets contemporary design. By marrying rugged heritage with refined art, brands transform functional utility into living luxury, crafting timeless icons for true collectors.

St. Petersburg turning the Winter Palace into a living canvas with light projection art. 18th-century baroque architecture meeting cutting-edge digital technology, free for anyone walking by. This is what happens when a country treats culture as public heritage, not a monetized attraction. No tickets, no paywalls, just art on a scale most cities wouldn't even attempt. Beautiful and accessible, exactly as it should be.

Denzel Washington turns 71 years old today. In the 150 years or so that cinema’s existed, Denzel is one of the art form’s greatest actors. This man transcends film. You could know nothing about movies- but you’d still know Denzel. I’m thankful to be alive at the same time as him.

As we reflect on the key milestones of recent years, we highlight one of the most significant exhibitions we've hosted: "Scripts and Calligraphy," which presented a unique cultural experience that embraced the beauty and rich history of Arabic calligraphy. Through this exhibition, held in two editions in the cities of Riyadh and Madinah, we showcased Arabic calligraphy as a timeless cultural heritage that embodies identity and history, while demonstrating how the script can transform into beautiful works of art. The Museums Commission celebrates this invaluable cultural heritage while encouraging new artistic experiments that engage with traditional calligraphy techniques and add a contemporary dimension to them. The "Scripts and Calligraphy" exhibition serves as a bridge between the past and the future, reflecting the Commission’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and fostering creativity through new forms of artistic expression. #Telling_Tomorrows_Story #SaudiMuseumsCommission

Christopher Lee as Saruman is casting of pure authority. He had actually met J.R.R. Tolkien in real life and knew the books inside out, then brought that weight straight into the role. Every word he speaks feels like it comes from history, not a script.

Bitcoin doesn't follow market cycles. It follows the same law as cities, organisms, and networks. One equation explains 96% of its price history — pennies to six figures, through every crash and ban. Price = time^5.7 That line has never broken.

The mysterious the Mogao Grottoes of Dunhuang, when you set foot on this ancient land, time seems to have solidified, as if through time and space, here witnessed the glory and vicissitudes of a thousand years of history, and still tenaciously preserved that unique artistic charm

every dictator drapes himself in religiosity when he can see the end is near; as is reflected by the trembling voice of this cursed individual who chew more than he could swallow; but as goes with nature’s law , he will have to squeal when the time comes

Kolkata was once one of India’s leading economic cities. Over time, Mumbai pulled ahead to become India’s largest and most productive urban economy, the nation’s financial capital. It also built a strong cultural identity, with festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Dahi Handi becoming mass movements. Leadership matters. Under Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra pushed hard on infrastructure, reinforcing Mumbai’s position as India’s economic engine. History shows this clearly that cities rise when governance encourages growth, and they fall when ideology overrides economics.

What happens when mountain-born art meets the world? Qiang embroidery, a national intangible cultural heritage passed down through generations of Qiang women, reflects their deep reverence for nature and devotion to family in every stitch. Now, it's being reimagined in digital form, as a new generation carries it onto the global stage. In Kunlun: Legends of the East brought to you by China Daily, witness how this ancient art breaks its cocoon and takes flight. #Kunlun #CulturalJourney #ChineseCulture
