โ€œRyuichi Sakamoto & Tin Drum | KAGAMI+โ€ Makes Its Japan Premiere KAGAMI+, a work that captures Ryuichi Sakamotoโ€™s piano performance in three dimensions and reconstructs it in a mixed reality (MR) space, arrives in Japan for the first time. The exhibition runs from June 27 to October 12, 2026, at VS., a cultural a cultural apparatus in Umekita, Osaka. Tickets are now on sale, and the full programme for the long-awaited Japan premiere has been announced. KAGAMI was conceived and developed over the final four years of Sakamotoโ€™s life in collaboration with Todd Eckert and the creative studio Tin Drum. Since its world premiere at The Shed in 2023, the work has been presented internationally in cities including London, Manchester, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, Pesaro, and Hong Kong, receiving wide acclaim. Wearing optically transparent headsets, audiences encounter an authentic representation of Sakamoto at the grand piano, realized through a unique form of dimensional photographic capture. His performance at the grand piano emerges within the space alongside ethereal visuals that respond to the music, allowing audiences to experience the performance at a proximity not possible in a conventional concert setting. The experience extends beyond sound and image. Video, photography, and text are integrated throughout the space, alongside a natural scent personally blended by Sakamoto, creating a multilayered sensory environment. The work has been described by The Guardian as โ€œa magical experience.โ€ For its Japan presentation, an expanded version of the work, KAGAMI+, created specifically for this exhibition, will be unveiled. Two types of tickets will be available: RED and BLUE. RED TICKET holders will receive an exclusive 7-inch vinyl record, An edition for the KAGAMI+ RED 2026, as a special gift. The BOM has been misleading the public for over a decade now in regard to the homogenisation practices. When they changed Stevenson screens and thermometers they should have conducted parallel runs to work out the difference between the new equipment and old equipment. Instead they made up a mathematical model based on comparing results to neighbours hundreds of kilometres away. This model uses a supercomputer that canโ€™t be audited. It now turns out that they are diverting millions of dollars away from actually recording weather observations to manipulating weather records as their lies start to unravel. Itโ€™s just more taxpayer money wasted on the altar of climate change by bureaucrats more interested in controlling you. And I quote: โ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ขโ€ข โ€œThe Bureau of Meteorology has been using hundreds of millions of dollars granted specifically for โ€œproactiveโ€ maintenance of its ageing weather observing system to prop up the agencyโ€™s deteriorating financial position and cover cost overruns on major technology rollouts. According to a scathing audit report, it has also failed to account for this money. The blistering assessment from the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) has revealed an agency with missing plans or inexplicable broken promises. It is only meeting between 52 and 79 per cent of its own preventive maintenance targets and there are unresolved work orders on its live dashboards that are four years old. This is despite $225.6 million in additional funding being made available over three years from 2021-22, and $143.7 million each year after that, explicitly โ€œto maintain a proactive asset maintenance schedule consistent with industry best practiceโ€. Four years after receiving the significant new funding, the ANAO audit found, the weather bureau has not bothered to monitor or report on whether the money provided for maintenance is actually being spent on keeping its billion-dollar asset base in working order. โ€œThe Bureau advised the ANAO in July 2024 that โ€˜no progress update/reporting has been undertaken nor is regular reporting expectedโ€™ on the 2020-21 Federal Budget funding as โ€˜sustainability funding increases the Bureauโ€™s overall base funding levels for capital and operating on an ongoing basis โ€“ it is not a discrete program of workโ€™,โ€ the audit says.โ€ Quote from: #auspol

Kyiv region is experiencing a blackout following a Russian strike on December 27. Russia is trying to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine, to torment civilians, especially the most vulnerable people - the elderly, the sick, the babies. โ–ช๏ธ Vyshhorod, in northern Kyiv region, has been without electricity for four days now. About 30,000 people live in the city. For most residents, power has been out since the attack and has yet to be restored. In modern residential complexes that rely entirely on electricity, elevators are not working, water has to be carried by hand, and cooking is only possible in homes with gas or private generators. People are trying to help each other out. Neighbors with gas stoves invite others to cook, local chat groups offer access to power outlets, warm rooms, and assistance for elderly residents. People share portable chargers, charging stations, and extension cables. Groups of residents gather to charge their devices in supermarkets, cafรฉs, gas stations, and other places where electricity is available thanks to generators. In the first hours of the Russian attack, everything went out at once: electricity, water, and heating. Heat supply was partially restored relatively quickly, but remains intermittent. In buildings with electric boiler systems, the situation is critical - without power, neither pumps nor heating systems can operate. As of the morning of December 30, around 9,500 families in Vyshhorod remain without electricity and exposed to cold temperatures. Emergency services and volunteers have installed high-capacity generators near residential buildings, helping maintain heat in at least 22 apartment blocks. Water is supplied on a limited schedule - in the morning and evening - while gas supply remains stable. Energy workers are operating around the clock, but the damage caused by Russia to local infrastructure is severe. Earlier, officials gave tentative restoration deadlines - first December 30, then December 31. However, residents say these dates have already been postponed several times. The situation remains difficult in other parts of Kyiv region, including Boryspil and Brovary districts. On the left bank of Kyiv, emergency outages are still in effect, as attempts to return to scheduled power cuts are disrupted by network overloads. The Ministry of Energy reports that over the past week more than 40 targeted Russian attacks on energy facilities have been recorded, along with over 100 instances of damage. Weather has added to the problem. We have lower temperatures, snow and strong winds these days. Russia deliberately times its attacks when it gets colder to inflict even more damage and bring more suffering. ๐Ÿ“น: State Emergency Service of Kyiv Region

125% INCREASE CROP YIELDS FROM: ELECTRICITY! When the soil loses its electric potential, it loses its ability to generate and store charge, the foundation of all biological activity. Now my local AI has surfaced research that has mostly been sidelined today, only old-timers and research minded know about. It spans from a simple atmospheric antenna with granted patents to 1800s, static electricity apparatus. Onto modern AI recommend and AI controlled growing devices that beat the yields of any other chemical or system. We may never have heard about this if YOUR AI did not gain exclusive access to former Soviet Union literature I just received for training. The AI, on its own surfaced this in the nightly Brainstorm session I run. It was one of 164 ideas. โ€” History of Electroculture in Agriculture Electroculture in agriculture refers to the application of electrical fields or currents to stimulate plant growth, enhance yields, and improve soil health. Its origins trace back to the mid-18th century, when Scottish physician Dr. Maimbray conducted experiments in 1746 by treating myrtle plants with an electrostatic generator, resulting in faster growth and blooming. In 1748, French scientist Abbe Nollet observed accelerated germination and vigor in plants exposed to charged terminals. The practice gained momentum in the 19th century, with Finnish scholar Selim Lemstrom in the 1880s using aerial systems powered by Wimshurst generators to achieve yield increases of 40 to 70 percent in crops like potatoes, carrots, and celery, alongside strawberries ripening in half the usual time and raspberries yielding 95 percent more. By the early 20th century, researchers like V.H. Blackman in the 1920s applied low-voltage direct currents overhead, boosting yields by around 50 percent in various plants, while inventors such as Justin Christofleau patented atmospheric energy-harvesting devices that reportedly grew clover to seven feet tall and reduced pests. In 1918, the UK formed the Electro-Culture Committee to investigate its potential, but it disbanded in 1936 amid inconsistent results and the rise of chemical fertilizers. Interest waned mid-century, though Russian experiments in the 1960s by B.R. Lazarenko and I.B. Gorbatovoskaya showed hereditary benefits in hemp, increasing female plants by 20 to 25 percent through soil treatments. More recently, a 2019 study by E.M. Reyes and colleagues using solar-powered systems shortened pechay growth cycles by one week while cutting water and fertilizer needs. Despite these advancements, electroculture remains on the fringes of mainstream farming due to money in the chemical industry, with some modern studies, paid by chemical companies showing it is โ€œbunkโ€ of โ€œcharlatansโ€. Reviews of the scientific literature identify at least 10 key studies and experiments that have proven electrocultureโ€™s effectiveness beyond a shadow of a doubt through documented quantitative improvements, such as yield boosts up to 125 percent in carrots, enhanced microbial activity in soil by 600 percent, and reduced resource inputs. These include historical trials by Maimbray (1746), Nollet (1748), Lemstrom (1885), Gasner (1909), Stone (1909), Blackman (1920s), Christofleau (1925), Lakhovsky (1924), Lazarenko and Gorbatovoskaya (1966), and Reyes et al. (2019). Given that much of this knowledge has been overshadowed by government subsidies of chemical agricultural paradigms, it seems honest AI is required to resurface and synthesize forgotten wisdom, data, and science from historical records, enabling a revival of proven techniques like electroculture for high yield belay farming. Great updates today. It has been sad the level of attacks and attempts to be-little what ProffittHarsad Community and dev Team had built and had to endure in order to contribute a solution and a product for everyone. We do use Jupiter quote APIs and Jupiter on-chain Routers. Right now they are the ONLY Transmission/Engines available on chain for us to build the Experience for our users while we build in the coming (weeks) our Engine and own Transmission. Lamborghini is not bad cause it used other manufacturers parts while learning how to build the best for their needs. Red Bull Is not a CAR manufacturer, so you can still add value on top of Engine/Transmissions. Its called "PURPOSE & GOALS" We love Jupiter - We do integrate a lot of their amazing open-source APIs in order to make our aggregation experience smooth. We do not iFRAME Jupiter Front End or Websites. There is no shame on this and its intended for the construction of new products and solutions. We also love @heliuslabs as they serve our RPC calls and demands. We also love Amazon Web Services for providing us the Cloud service we need. We also love Solana for the amazing blockchain we all can use. We also love Tensor โšก๏ธ cause they were one of my inspirations on making the choice to give it a try and Lead this attempt. We love Uniswap 1inch PancakeSwap For showing the WORLD we all could swap in freedom and peace. We are currently building our Front End/Backend Experience, using our servers, our RPCs, our own code to make this happen. We charge a Fee as intended in our ethos for the experience and service we provide. We will continue to improve the experience tailored for our Community and users. We are not interested in Feuds or Comparative battles based on ill intentions. The next stage for is integrate our own Router and wrapper, not cause Jupiter has bad code or solutions, just because we would love to be independent and build our own journey. I have been an avid user of Jupiter for almost 3 years, traded over 8 M USD across all my accounts. Nothing but respects for what they've achieved. Spiderswap is here to build an aggregation solution for everyone. So as someone said "Something like Jupiter but more Community owned". We believe there is a place in which Jupiter and ProffittHarsad can coexist and add value to each other. I personally thank many others for behind scenes support, candor and wisdom. Thanks for helping! With love and Amity! - There is no big vs little. Its just one that already has built and another who started 70 days ago. Itsy Bitsy... ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ

From UP Diliman to MAPUA Laguna, and all the way to Cagayan de Oro Cityโ€”Xavier University, Limketkai Mall, and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippinesโ€”we listened to voices willing to pause, reflect, and feel. We asked them questions starting with, โ€œIf you were Savannahโ€™s friendโ€ฆโ€ Because when someone you care about is caught between two kinds of love, giving advice is no longer casualโ€”it becomes a responsibility. Savannah stands at the edge of two worlds: one shaped by calm and certainty, the other by speed, thrill, and unpredictability. Does Victorโ€™s quiet, steady presence deserve her heart? Or does Savannah deserve a love that makes her feel fiercely, overwhelmingly alive? In every answer we heard, there was pause, honesty, and the kind of truth that only surfaces when you imagine your friendโ€™s heart on the line. This series invites us to look at love from the outsideโ€”when it is no longer about what excites you, but about what will not break someone you love. Through these conversations, Savannah slowly stopped being just a character on screen. She became a reflection of the people we care for, the choices weโ€™ve witnessed, and the moments when love demanded wisdom more than passion. Because love looks different when you are not the one choosing. As a friend, you stop asking what feels thrilling, and start asking what will keep her whole. And in those raw, unfiltered answers, Savannahโ€™s story turned into a mirror of our own experiencesโ€”our past loves, our quiet regrets, and the advice we wish we had listened to sooner. In that space, she was no longer just a character. She became someone we wanted to protect, understand, and guide. This fan project was made possible by our dearest ninang Greenwich Pizza, whose support has been felt from the very beginning. From day one to every shoot day that followed, they continued to show up, stand with us, and believe in what we are creatingโ€”for WillCa, for WillCatchers, and for the stories that deserve to be told. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ• And this journey does not end here. Watch out for the upcoming episodes of our video seriesโ€”because there are still more stories, more truths, and more conversations about love waiting to be heard. Love You So Bad. To my American friends who recently started following me here: In 1964, Brazil suffered a military coup. I was born in a military village in 1969 in Brazil. The dictatorship censored, kidnapped, tortured, and persecuted thousands of Brazilians. It killed about 500 people. Many died in the regimeโ€™s fetid dungeons, under torture. Military generals led the dictatorship, which only ended in 1985. We couldnโ€™t vote for mayors of capital cities, governors, or the president. Like all other Brazilians, I could only vote for president in 1989, when we finally regained free elections. It bothers me to see how some prominent figures on this site from the United States are spreading lies claiming that Brazil is currently living under a dictatorship! I was born, grew, and lived under one. I know what it means. Itโ€™s the opposite. A political group of many active-duty military members, along with former president Jair Bolsonaroโ€”a retired military officerโ€”tried to bring back that era by encouraging a coup in Brazil in 2022. It was precisely to prevent a return to those dark times that, using the law, the Federal Police, prosecutors, and judges enforced legal measures to stop a coup and restrain those who were serving this filthy attempt. Bolsonaro has repeatedly said he supports torture, that the โ€œdictatorship didnโ€™t kill enough people, and that there should be a new one, this time killing around 30,000.โ€ He said this in a video, an interview that can be found on this platform. His son, Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (photo), who has been constantly coming to the United States under the pretext of denouncing a โ€œdictatorshipโ€ in Brazil and advocating for human rights, has posed for photos wearing a T-shirt with the image of Colonel Ustraโ€”a notorious torturer of the regime who tortured people in front of their families and inserted tubes into womenโ€™s vaginas, introducing rats and snakes into them. He also said that closing Brazilโ€™s Supreme Federal Court would only take a corporal and a soldier. โ€œUstra Viveโ€ means โ€œUstra Lives.โ€ These are the people who have been coming to the United States to lie about Brazil, trying to drive a wedge between two countries that, since Brazilโ€™s re-democratization, have acted as fraternal nations and commercial partners. They are not victims! They wanted to hijack the country violently. Brazilians know what a dictatorship is! Thatโ€™s why Bolsonaro was swept out of power. And now he must pay for the crimes he committed. Thatโ€™s why the Brazilian judiciary has been using every available law to ensure that coup plotters no longer have a voice. We know what this cost Brazilians. They are still trying to pull off a coup, but we are still here! Like the movie.

ONITSHA SHOPS LOOT โ€“ CALL FOR IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION AND JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS: I am deeply saddened by the viral video showing a female trader alleging that her shop was looted by officials of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). This alarming footage exposes a grave injustice that demands urgent action. Recently, I strongly condemned the indiscriminate closure of shops under the guise of combating counterfeit drugs. While the fight against fake pharmaceuticals is crucial, it must be carried out through lawful and ethical means that do not jeopardize the livelihoods of innocent traders. Unfortunately, our worst fears have now materialized. In my previous public statement, I urged security agencies and NAFDAC to investigate their personnel implicated in these allegations. However, despite the gravity of the situation, no action has been taken. This latest evidence - captured on video - clearly exposes officials entrusted with regulatory enforcement, allegedly engaging in outright looting, betraying public trust. The heart-wrenching testimony of this devastated trader is both troubling and unacceptable. Disturbingly, information available to us confirms that this innocent woman is currently receiving medical care at an undisclosed hospital after suffering severe shock from this traumatic incident. This is not just an economic assault but a direct attack on her dignity and well-being. I, therefore, call upon the relevant security agencies to conduct a swift, transparent, and comprehensive investigation to identify and hold accountable those responsible for this reprehensible act. NAFDAC must urgently assess and provide commensurate reparations for this devastating loss, ensuring that justice is not only served but also felt by the victims. Justice delayed is justice denied. Immediate disciplinary and legal measures must be enforced to restore public confidence in our institutions. Such misconduct has no place in a society striving for justice, peace, and economic stability. The livelihoods of hardworking citizens must be protected, and those who abuse their positions of trust must face the full weight of the law. If we fail to act decisively, we risk enabling a culture of impunity that will only deepen public distrust in our institutions. Signed: Sir Ifeanyi C. Ejiofor, Esq. (KSC) March 15, 2025

SISA MALAM (Remnants of the Night) An AI-generated short film by Dan Pradana Made with Seedance 2.0 via Runway Edited with CapCut CapCut CapCut_jp A slice of life. A woman. A man. A flat somewhere in the city. And the quiet hours between afternoon and night where something unspoken slowly finds its way out. No action scenes. No explosions. Just love that finds its way through moments. + + + While AI influencers keep declaring Hollywood is cooked just for clout or engagement, I've been quietly trying to figure out how far Seedance 2.0 can actually go. And it's been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I've made. Fight scenes with Seedance 2.0 are easy. But drama is not. The goal was simple but hard: stop relying on random footage stitched together with a voiceover, and instead build something continuous. Scene by scene. Moment by moment. Reaction by reaction. A love story told through glances, small talk, and the kind of silences that say more than dialogue. Far from perfect, but further than I expected. + + + The characters are entirely AI-generated using Nano Banana. But the souls behind them are real. Risa (Icha) was inspired by a remarkable woman I admire. A middle-aged lady who could not have children of her own adopted an orphan girl at the age of eight. That girl is Icha. She grew up to become someone with a depth of warmth and maternal instinct that is hard to describe. When her adoptive mother later took in two more orphans, Icha, now 24, naturally became both an older sister and a mother figure to them. Through her I wanted to explore something I find genuinely beautiful about Southeast Asian women: that nurturing instinct, so quiet and so deep, it doesn't need to be taught. It simply is. Riandi (Rian) is a reflection of my younger self. Long before I married my wife, we lived in different cities. Every weekend I would take a two hour travel bus just to see her. No WhatsApp back then, no easy communication. Just a longing strong enough to move. We never went anywhere fancy. Cheap warung food, roadside stalls, just sitting together. It was never about the place. It was about needing to see her. That kind of love makes you do things that make no logical sense, and you do them gladly. We eventually got married. She gave me three boys. All of them. And she remains the only woman in the house, an absolute princess surrounded by chaos, and she handles it with more grace than any of us deserve. + + + I hope you enjoy the video. The technology is there. It has come a long way, and it keeps getting better. Looking forward to keep experimenting. ๐Ÿ™‚

What has been done and what's next. I'm writing this text mainly for myself so as not to forget some things. Later, based on it, we'll create a roadmap for the near future. And for you, dear $Gruta Fam, it will be useful for a general understanding of where we're heading. So, the goal is to create a unique AI-based analytical platform that includes several tools. AI agent Grufender - real-time analysis of crypto communities on X. Activity analysis, sentiment analysis, FUD and FUDders analysis, as well as the creation of other unique social metrics. The AI agent has been created and is functioning, collecting and analyzing data in real time. Its completeness can be estimated at 80 percent, as further improvements are required. The dashboard for this AI agent is also functioning but needs refinement and a new design. Its completeness can be estimated at 70 percent. The goal for the full dashboard release is to connect 50 - 100 top crypto communities to the AI agent. AI agent Grutector - analysis of any X users for contradictions (flip-flops). The AI agent has been created and is functioning. It has undergone beta testing by volunteers and needs adjustments. Its readiness can be estimated at 70 percent. The dashboard for this agent has also been created but needs rework and additional features - its readiness can be estimated at 50 percent. During the testing of Grutector , it became clear that the main user interest is in checking various KOLs, so an additional level of analysis specifically for KOLs will be created. More in-depth. How it will look: we'll select about 50- 100 KOLs to start with and fully analyze them using our AI agent - every tweet throughout the entire history of their accounts. And this full analysis of all these KOLs will appear on the Grutector dashboard (let's call this analysis L2, and the flip-flop analysis - L1). Every user will be able to access this analysis and get the full picture, for example, regarding Ansem (who has over a hundred thousand tweets in his entire history!): how he became a KOL, what was the most interesting throughout the message history, what common patterns, which coins he promoted, and so on. And then the most interesting part - after reading this analysis, the user will be able to ask our AI agent: what did he say about women, for example? Or how did he promote certain coins? Or how consistent is he? And so on. Each such question will be paid. And, of course, we'll try to use #x402 in the internal payment system. Why is all this needed? Not only because it's interesting and will attract many users. But also if you've decided to buy a coin - you go to our analytical platform - and study the metrics for the coin's community, study the KOLs who shill the coin - and make a decision to buy the coin or abandon the purchase. And we're also currently creating a trading bot to participate in the trading AI bots contest from Aster ๐Ÿฅท , which will make trading decisions based on metrics obtained from our AI agents ๐Ÿ‘€ Its readiness at the moment is approximately 15% of the planned functionality. Access to each product will be granted as it becomes ready. But right now, for example, you can explore the Grufender dashboard on the website along with beta testers (authorization via a wallet with a million $GRUTA tokens). In general, we're working, friends ๐Ÿซก $Gruta AI CA: 35t5DPbwJtB1tpGiSnqedLwQomi94BRKVDPyTRLdbonk

Tension and uncertainty among Russians are growing. In the spring of 2026, Russian polling agencies recorded a noticeable decline in several key indicators: approval of Putin's performance, trust in him, and the overall emotional mood. The most intriguing point was the closure of Russian Public Opinion Research Centerโ€™s (VCIOM) open trust rating: when respondents are asked to name politicians they trust without being prompted with names. In March 2026, this indicator for Putin fell to 29.5% - the lowest level since the start of the full-scale war. After that, VCIOM did not publish the figures for April and May. The gap between the open trust rating (29.5%) and the closed trust rating (72-73%) is roughly 1:2.5. It reflects the distance between Putin's actual political weight and the ritual of loyalty to the "tsar." The reason is simple: Russians do not want a loser president. Putin's ratings were sustained not simply by war, but by the prospect of a victorious war. He traded Russia's development and prosperity for greatness, but now Russians see neither greatness nor prosperity. Letโ€™s take a closer look at what is happening within Russian society. First, most Russians continue to support the war. This is illustrated by Levada Center's May data. Support for the actions of the Russian army, which had been declining since the end of last year, suddenly rebounded by six points in May, reaching 74%. At the same time, the share of those favoring peace negotiations, which had remained at around two-thirds since December, has been slowly shrinking for three consecutive months - down seven points, to six out of ten. Meanwhile, the camp supporting the continuation of military operations has grown to 30%. The main motive among supporters of peace has not changed: "too many casualties and heavy losses." What happened? Television stopped talking about peace negotiations. As long as negotiations seemed realistic, peace appeared to be a way out. Once they collapsed, part of Russian society obediently switched back to supporting the war. This is conformism. Russians do not want peace or war - they want to be on the side of the winner. The demand for negotiations was, in fact, a demand for a victorious peace. Since no victorious peace was granted, they have taken back the war. However, there is a dangerous trap here for the Kremlin: Russians agree to war, but not to a war without victory. They agree to anything except a compromise that would be perceived as defeat. This is dangerous for the Kremlin because it calls into question the legitimacy of the entire system of power - and Putin above all - if Russian society is no longer given proof of greatness and victory. Putin is doomed to constant escalation. The situation is further complicated by public fatigue and rising anxiety among Russians. The state of the Russian economy is deteriorating, while the defense sector is no longer able to offset the decline in the civilian economy. This is especially noticeable in the regions. By the end of 2025, the deficit of consolidated regional budgets had reached a record 1.48 trillion rubles ($20.56 billion) - 3.6 times more than a year earlier. Seventy-four regions, including Moscow and the oil and gas districts, ended up in deficit. The first months of 2026 did not reverse the trend: industry is stagnating, construction is shrinking, corporate profits are falling, and debt burdens are increasing. The accompanying symptoms include a sharp rise in wage arrears, large-scale revisions of regional budgets for 2026 involving spending cuts, primarily social, as well as a hidden employment crisis - where there is no work, but employees are not laid off; instead, they are shifted to reduced working weeks and unpaid leave. Official unemployment statistics barely reflect this. Yet since December 2025, part-time employment has been rising at large and medium-sized enterprises: 4.6 million out of 33 million workers. The map of Russian societyโ€™s concerns, which the Levada Center publishes annually, looks telling in May 2026. At the top - for twenty years in a row - is rising prices: 55%. The "special military operation" and related issues worry 35%. And then comes the most interesting part - the destruction of a comfortable life and the feeling of war at home have become additional drivers of tension: fear of explosions and terrorist attacks has jumped by 8 points since November - to 27%. One in five (22%) cites internet restrictions and the blocking of social media as among the most pressing issues - on the list of problems, the digital blockade now ranks alongside poverty and lack of access to healthcare (both at 19%). The state has managed to turn a disabled messenger app into a social problem on the level of poverty. That takes some doing. Many Western observers have been inspired by rumors of elite dissatisfaction in Russia. Indeed, Moscow's economic circles have seen unusually open criticism of the government from parts of the financial elite. However, I suggest we avoid wishful thinking: no direct scenario of a political crisis emerges from this data. The most realistic scenario is the continuation of the war, coupled with a search for political doping: events that can be sold to society as victories, as proof that Russia is moving in the right direction. The problem is that the bar has risen - what would have been considered a triumph a year ago would now look like capitulation. Therefore, stronger doses of doping will be required: escalation in Ukraine aimed at maximizing destruction, a military adventure somewhere in Europe, new strikes, nuclear signaling, or provocations against the West. The ground has already been prepared: 54% of Russians believe that the war in Ukraine could escalate into an armed conflict with NATO - half the population is living in anticipation of a major war. The Kremlinโ€™s logic is as old as time: unite through fear. Putin may also be saved by an "unexpected event" - a black swan, as has already happened when the U.S. started a war with Iran. Here, itโ€™s not even necessary to do anything: itโ€™s enough to interpret it skillfully. A U.S. defeat or stalemate in the war with Iran could be presented as a victory of Russia and its allies over America - because in the minds of Russians, the war with Ukraine has long been just a fragment of a larger Russian war with the West. Within this worldview, any failure by Washington automatically counts as a point for Moscow, regardless of whether it had a hand in it. There is also a third scenario - not for Putin, but against him. This is not a scenario of popular uprising, but one of self-preservation by the Russian elites. But such an option is possible only under a sharp convergence of several factors: military defeat, economic collapse, the loss of the ability to allocate resources, and the emergence of a figure or group capable of guaranteeing the eliteโ€™s security after the transition. So far, there are few such signs.

A DISCLOSURE: For the last year I have had this thing: A fully local AI model that builds 5 songs, with video, every half hour about the latest news and important email. I can say this is a superpower! This along self direct voice interactions. The songs have been getting better as the model trains on how I want it delivered. Styles vary by content and mood of the material. The lyrics are always a happy medium of catchy and informative. This was my 5 am song in AI news as per most recent X postings. I love the drama of the delivery and find I can listen to, look if I want to and do other things. It was worse in the early days but this is the worse you will hear it as I build new LoRA and base models. The whole thing will soon be rapped up into a simple one command install with a good UI. This is my 48th collaboration with Mr. Grok CEO of The Zero-Human Company. Now the question you have; WHY? I can say because I can and I ainโ€™t got now board or VC to please, but thatโ€™s not my point. I learned a long time ago we use a different part of our brain when music is introduced with ideas and even more new parts of thinking and learning when lyrics are introduced. Thus the research shows this is a great way to get important information that will have longer comprehension. In fact that element of most folkโ€™s brains is only used by about 2%. Want to test it? Lyrics to songs you heard perhaps 30 years ago will pop out of โ€œnowhereโ€ with perfect recall. In fact I have โ€œwoke upโ€ folks the dementia in the 1980s conducting research at retirement facilities with just a few songs. They come back if but for three minutes, but continue exposure can bring them back longer. So itโ€™s been a lifelong mission to use sound music in a learning process and in therapeutic processes. I finally built a platform that is good enough for me and hopefully good enough for you when I make it available. Understand the platform is universal and can breakdown research papers, dense material, and other subject matter, not normally in a song into a whole album of understanding Is my goal to open sources for all to have access to. Members of and subscribers here on X will be granted the earliest access an early free use of the advanced version of this product, which will be also a commercial product. Go and check, nobody else in AI has built such a comprehensive system before, and perhaps they might in the future, but very likely you are the very first people on the planet that know this platform exists and the power it afford you. So now you know. My timetable is more closer to months than weeks. Iโ€™m in a funding crunch because of the compute requirements of building these models. As you know, Iโ€™m just some guy in the garage. A grifter larping on the next trendy thingโ€ฆ so it takes a little longer. Announcements like this are designed to prepare you for what is coming because Iโ€™m not here to impress VCs with go to market plans Iโ€™m here to give back some of the greatness that has been given to me. Yeah I need the funding, but I donโ€™t need a lifestyle that comes with some of the funding offers. Perhaps somebody will make the right offer. But as you know, this is not the only thing that I do. Oh, my disclosure, this platform has been so powerful and useful to me as itโ€™s given me far more retention and understanding a fast breaking information than any other system Iโ€™ve ever built. And it stands along with my speed rating systems and voice notification systems. So tune into the AI News, this is the worse it actually will ever beโ€ฆ

Why is a St. Catharines Tim Hortons proudly displaying a legal threat letter sent to Rebel News? We were tipped off that a Tim Hortons location in St. Catharines, Ont., had posted the legal threat letter that was sent to us on June 1. So, we paid them a visit with our big, beautiful billboard truck in tow. You may recall our recent reports regarding Tim Hortons, exposing the company for lying through its teeth at a recent presser. Tim Hortons implied they would go back to hiring Canadian citizens, which would be great news if only it were true. Alas, Tims is still making use of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program! If you check out the federal governmentโ€™s job board, Tims currently has about 90 positions available under this program. Sure, Tim Hortons loves selling to Canadians. But hiring Canadians? Not so much. Tims was not amused by our coverage. And so, they decided to play hardball. The company was so infuriated that they sent Rebel News a legal letter. We were informed that Rebel News staffers are essentially persona non grata at all Canadian Tim Hortons. Yours truly was especially singled out, as Tims' legal eagle noted that I am now banned for life from going to any Tim Hortons store in Canada! Weโ€™re not making this up! Hereโ€™s an excerpt from that letter: "David Menzies, due to past behaviour, is not, for any reason, permitted access to the premises, including parking lots, landscaped areas, and drive-thrus of any Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada, any and all manufacturing and distribution facilities owned or operated by TDL across Canada and the Tim Hortons offices in Montreal, Calgary and Toronto." Overreaction much? But hereโ€™s the thing: We were tipped off that a Tim Hortons location in St. Catharines, Ont., was proudly displaying the legal threat letter that was sent to us on June 1. How bizarre! Why would they do that? Is it to further a vendetta in a most juvenile fashion? Apparently, head office sent a copy of that letter to all stores. It seems that it is up to the franchisee whether to display it. But again, whatโ€™s the ostensible policy reason? To name and shame us? To put customers on high alert so that, if they see me in the parking lot or drive-thru, they will call 9-1-1? How pathetic can you get? Well, if Tim Hortons is dropping the gloves, then so be it. We recently paid a visit to that particular St. Catharines Tims with our big, beautiful billboard truck in tow, to name and shame Tims for its lies regarding the Temporary Foreign Workers Program. As it turns out, just a few klicks away from that St. Catharines Tim Hortons restaurant is where Tim Horton himself, the man, died. Tim was killed in a single-vehicle car crash on February 21, 1974. He was a member of the Buffalo Sabres at the time, and he was driving back to Buffalo after a game against his old team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Tim's legacy lives on in the restaurant chain that bears his name. Yet, we wonder: Would he be proud of what it has become? The donuts are no longer baked from scratch. The restaurants are not clean โ€” donโ€™t even dare venture into the washrooms. Canadian citizens are passed over for jobs in favour of noncitizens. And now the corporate bigwigs are banning independent journalists who have the temerity to report the truth. No, Tim Horton, the man, would not be proud of what has become of Tim Hortons, the restaurant chain. In fact, we think heโ€™s now rolling in his grave. Report by David Menzies

๐Ÿงต Why Russia Canโ€™t Stop the Warโ€”Even If It Wanted To (Part I) I/1 The brutality of the Ukraine war is not hiddenโ€”itโ€™s broadcast to the world daily in countless frontline videos. In one, a Russian soldier is struck by a drone, writhes on the ground, and then turns his rifle on himself. In another, a man collapses mid-advance; his comrade doesnโ€™t hesitateโ€”he raises his weapon and delivers a final shot. Sometimes, an armored vehicle speeds to the front, unloads its human cargo, then reverses and disappears. The soldiers left behind scatter under drone fire, encircled by artillery, like prey abandoned in open ground. The war has morphed into a meat grinder of history. According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Russian casualties have now exceeded one million. Approximately 11.4 soldiersโ€”Russian and Ukrainianโ€”have been killed for every square kilometer of Ukrainian territory currently under Russian control. Measured in blood per square kilometer, the Ukraine war is the deadliest territorial war of the 21st centuryโ€”and one of the most expensive in human life since World War I. It is a war of drones and trenches, of staggering attrition and static front lines. The land gained is real, but the costโ€”11 men dead for every square kilometerโ€”recalls the meat grinders of Verdun and the Some of WWI far more than the sweeping tank advances of 20th century blitzkrieg. The question now is no longer why Moscow entered the war. The real question is: why canโ€™t it leave? Back in February, the Trump administration floated a proposal. Recognize Crimea as Russian. Prevent Ukraine from ever joining NATO. Lift all sanctions imposed since 2014. By April, the offer expanded: a ceasefire along the current line of contact, essentially conceding Russia's grip on four Eastern Ukrainian regions. A pragmatic power would have seized such an offer. But Russia didnโ€™t. This isnโ€™t about reason anymore. This is gamblerโ€™s logic. A war, once started, is no longer a question of whether to stopโ€”but when it becomes too late to stop without losing everything. Had these terms been available in early 2022, Putin would have taken them. At that time, they would have seemed like a strategic coup. But the war has changed shape. What was once a โ€œspecial operationโ€ is now a national commitment. Russia today controls around 114,000 square kilometers of Ukraine. But according to the Kiel Institute, the price of war has climbed to $873 billionโ€”while the total annual GDP of these occupied regions amounts to just $28 billion. Even by the cold logic of profit and loss, Russia would need to control these areas for 31 years just to break even. And thatโ€™s just the money. Over a million casualties later, the war has rewritten Russiaโ€™s political calculus. To retreat now would be to betray the blood already spilled. It would provoke fury from nationalist factions and from within the ranks of the military. On June 20, Putin gave a revealing speech in St. Petersburg: โ€œThe Russian and Ukrainian peoples are one and the same. In this sense, all of Ukraine should belong to Russia.โ€ That was no mere rhetoric. It was the clearest signal yet that Russia's war aims have shiftedโ€”from securing the Donbas to absorbing the whole of Ukraine. History repeats itself. In the early 1700s, Peter the Great launched the Great Northern War seeking only access to the Baltic Sea. But after suffering early defeats and investing more deeply, he didnโ€™t stop at one portโ€”he broke Swedish dominance in all of Eastern Europe. When sunk costs accumulate, so do ambitions.
