CIWS systems can do very little against them Drone swarms represent such a serious threat to warships that there are very few effective defense options once they are launched. For example, a modern Phalanx CIWS in its latest block carries about 1,500 rounds. A short burst against incoming drones...

Middle Eastern Arabs are discovering the infamous iranian 🇮🇷 drones, here striking a civilian building in Bahrain 🇧🇭. These drones are massively used by Russia 🇷🇺, 53 000 of them have been fired at Ukraine 🇺🇦 last year ! No missile is worth to destroy these drones because they are very numerous and cheap. The best thing is drone air defense or canon airdefense. They are highly mobile and very difficult to destroy, often targeting residential building because they are not always very precise.

Chinese Swarm Drone Systems: 48 and 96 Drones Some time ago, I wrote about the evolution of autonomous systems and how only the Chinese were truly making progress in this field. After starting serial production of the Swarm-2, which features 48 drones and real-time tracking, they are now testing a version with 96 drones. These are divided into three categories: reconnaissance, jamming, and attack. Each drone can carry a variety of payloads, including electro-optical reconnaissance, strike munitions, and relay communications. They can be flexibly combined into different operational groupings, forming multifunctional swarms capable of complex missions. These drones have an individual range of 15 to 50 km, but the manufacturer claims that by maintaining a swarm network communication, this range is significantly extended. This strongly reinforces what we discussed a while back: that future wars will be dominated by drone systems that will severely delay any ground troop advancement, as already evidenced by the conflict in Ukraine.

🚨 “NATO countries are not ready for drone warfare. Period” — Madyar Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, said Ukraine is already living in a reality that much of Europe is still unprepared for: hundreds of Shahed drones a day, with missile strikes involving dozens of weapons coming in from multiple directions in between. According to him, no economy in the world could sustain trying to shoot down such a volume using only conventional air-defense systems. “Kyiv in three days is never going to happen. But I’m not sure the Baltics wouldn’t fall in a day,” Madyar said. He called drones the main threat: “Drones are the real plague of the third millennium. No exaggeration. The math proves it.” And his main conclusion was even harsher: “NATO partner countries are seriously overestimating their own readiness to withstand drone warfare.”

‼️ Russian FPV drones are capable of hitting targets near Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region As reported by journalist Kirienko, drones attacked cars on the highway towards Pokrovsk, about 7 kilometers from the city in the Dnipropetrovsk region. “Most likely, this is again a drone-queen, which 'brought' several FPVs. This is the first such hit on this route, so close to Pavlograd. We are systematically losing to the Russians in mid-strike. Such strikes on logistics in the rear and deep rear are becoming more and more frequent,” she notes. - UARU

Amid Irans heavy use of low cost Shahed kamikaze drones and missiles, Gulf states are rapidly depleting their expensive air defense interceptors. Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are now urgently negotiating with South Korea to accelerate deliveries and acquire additional Cheongung II medium range surface to air missile systems. This move highlights growing frustration with delays in United States weapons supplies particularly Patriot missiles whose production has struggled to meet surging global demand. Even close American allies are diversifying their sources to avoid gaps in their defenses. The Cheongung II effectively counters drones cruise missiles and aircraft. The United Arab Emirates has already deployed it in combat against Iranian attacks reporting high interception success rates. It offers a more cost effective alternative to premium United States systems for dealing with mass drone swarms. Saudi Arabia previously signed a major contract for the system and the Gulf states are now pushing for faster delivery of missiles and additional units. The shift reflects a broader reality in modern warfare. Cheap attacking drones are forcing defenders to burn through costly missiles at an unsustainable rate. Gulf countries are also exploring options from the United Kingdom Ukraine and even Japan for Patriot components. This pragmatic diversification shows how battlefield economics are reshaping arms procurement in the Middle East.

BIG | 🇷🇺‼️ Russia is installing massive cage-like anti-drone structures around oil depots and refineries in an effort to strengthen protection against kamikaze drone strikes. 🔹 These barriers are intended to serve as a final physical layer of defense, stopping incoming drones before they can directly hit fuel storage tanks and other vulnerable infrastructure. The move reflects how seriously repeated drone attacks are affecting Russian energy security. Physical cages may reduce damage from some low-flying drones, but they are only a last-resort measure and do not replace effective air defense, electronic warfare, or early detection. Drone escort This is the future of military convoys as well as civilian convoys in risky areas. Two or more drones will patrol while defensive systems will include interceptor drones that can be deployed when needed. It is likely that a vehicle equipped with VLS (Vertical Launch System) will operate solely with missiles and kamikaze drones, with target coordinates transmitted by the patrol drones. This concept is quite similar to what the Chinese are implementing with the Type 100, but they have adapted it for assault units, which I still believe needs to be tested.

🚨 UFO Drone Caught on Camera in Broad Daylight – Colombia Stunned! 🛸 Yet another sighting—this time in Colombia, and it’s crystal clear. Footage shows a mysterious craft hovering silently in broad daylight. Witnesses are baffled: “This doesn’t look like any drone we’ve ever seen.” No propellers. No wings. No sound. Just a sleek, unidentified flying object moving with eerie precision. Could this be connected to the growing wave of UFO drones being reported worldwide? Are we witnessing the next phase of this global phenomenon? The questions keep mounting, and so does the mystery. What are they? Who’s behind them? And what’s their purpose? Stay alert—this story is far from over. #UFOs #Drones #Colombia #Mystery

🇺🇦🇧🇾 “We will strike Belarus if we see that drone bases are being built there, or if drones are launched from its territory,” — stated Sergiy “Flash”, advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense. “We have sufficient intelligence information. We see the movement of their troops and how they are building fortifications and roads,” — noted Flash. This is a very sharp and unambiguous warning from the Ukrainian side. It indicates that Ukraine is closely monitoring Belarusian territory and is ready for preemptive strikes if Minsk crosses a clear red line by actively supporting Russian aggression. The statement is intended to strongly deter Lukashenko from allowing Belarus to become a platform for attacks on Ukraine. Video is generated by grok AI

🇺🇦 The Ukrainian surface unmanned boat TRITON, capable of carrying a variety of weapons, was presented in Paris The main equipment includes a system for remotely launching drones or air-to-air missiles. The platform can be equipped with a remotely controlled automatic turret with an ammunition load of 500 rounds and an optical module. In the kamikaze drone configuration, the TRITON is equipped with a 7.5 kg warhead. A built-in warhead initiation system is provided for the platform’s self-destruction. The TRITON represents another significant achievement of Ukraine’s domestic defense industry in the field of unmanned naval systems. Its versatility — combining reconnaissance, strike capabilities, and the option for kamikaze missions — makes it a highly effective tool for operations in the Black Sea. The ability to launch drones and air-to-air missiles from a surface platform adds a new layer to Ukraine’s asymmetric naval warfare tactics. Video is generated by grok AI

🚨 WOW! There has been a -75% DROP in drone activity along the US-Mexico border Rio Grande Valley after the US military deployed a "high-energy LASER WEAPON SYSTEM" — CBS Many of these same drones are linked to the CARTELS Bad*ss 🔥🔥 The first use of this weapon to down drones was less than 2 weeks ago. The drones plummeted after that SecWar Pete Hegseth and President Trump are MILITARIZING our border after Democrats opened the floodgates for 4 years 👏🏻 I voted for every second of this.

🚨 YEMEN ENTERS THE WAR For the first time in this conflict, missiles and drones have reportedly been launched from Yemen toward Israel. The Houthis are now stepping in. This is no longer a contained regional fight. The battlefield is expanding — and fast. More actors. More fronts. More risk of escalation. Watch this closely. Because once multiple fronts open… things can spiral very quickly.
