For the first time in history, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to a Bitcoiner. Congratulations to Maria Corina Machado, and also to Human Rights Foundation (HRF) who continues to explain to the world what is so obvious to so many- Bitcoin IS human rights

1. ‘The Islamic Republic vs. Iran.’ Thanks to Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) and Human Rights Foundation (HRF) for the opportunity to highlight Iran’s #WomanLifeFreedom revolution, and discuss a decades-long theocracy that has hijacked a multi-millennial civilization. A few key takeaways 🧵 #MahsaAmini #KatayounRiahi

The Human Rights Campaign! Sounds great. I support human rights. But Robby Starbuck says the HRC “has nothing to do with actual human rights.” They push "transgenderism into the workplace and support sex changes for kids.” And big companies subscribe:

Bitcoin fundamentally changed how we see money, ownership, and property rights. Now it’s time to expand what Bitcoin’s value can do. At the The Bitcoin Conference, Charles Hoskinson shared a vision for the next era of financial systems where Cardano provides the infrastructure and wallet to unlock Bitcoin DeFi built around the user. I'll never get tired of these empty statements ('Bitcoin's not a currency or a store of value') that are disproved with ten seconds on Google. Here's Bitcoin Policy UK testing the new MUSQET° payment terminal, using our Bitcoin (previously held as a store of value) as a currency. Scan the QR or tap a Bolt card connected to your node for seamless payments. Oh, and Merryn Somerset Webb - if you would like to see Bitcoin solving problems, feel free to donate directly either to the Lebanese human rights organization that recently teamed up with Human Rights Foundation (HRF), or to Bitcoin for Palestine ⚡⚡ , who is feeding children in Gaza, paid for with Bitcoin donations. Links in thread. Just because Bitcoin doesn't solve any problems for YOU, doesn't make that true for everyone.

NEW: Farida Nabourema gives a powerful opening keynote at the Africa #Bitcoin Conference 🇰🇪 Bitcoin “is a system that says your time, your life matters, and this is what Satoshi taught us, to disrupt systems of control that exploits the many for the benefit of the few. To create a world where financial sovereignty is not a privilege, but a right, and to believe in the possibility of freedom, monetary equality.”
