When 40% of births in this country are covered by medicaid… So you can save it, Speaker Johnson, that now you are coming in and that you care about feeding hungry children, that you care that they have what they need for preventive health care. That you care about pregnant women and that they can have a safe and healthy delivery for their children, spare us.

Do they really think communism is going to happen? No. They’re trying to scare people because they don’t want us talking about the fact that we all have a right to health care. So they want to call everything they don’t like communist because if people actually wake up to the fact that their elected officials are screwing them over when they get here, they’re going to realize they deserve better and that health care as a right isn’t crazy. REMINDER. There are people in this world who can buy whatever they want, do whatever they want and live however they want without money ever being a limiting factor. Money is not real to them. Frost: One of the Republicans today, in response to the birthright decision, said, “Well, you know, we’re disappointed in it because there are people who are gaming the system, taking advantage of the system.” And what they’re saying is there’s people giving birth to children in our country. I thought this was the pro-birth, pro-family party. And my other question is, if they don’t want people to give birth, if they don’t want people to have families in this country, what do they want them to do if they get pregnant—have an abortion? I mean, the whole birthright citizenship thing, and the way they’re responding to it, just calls out the hypocrisy that they do not care about families, they don’t care about children.

Because without the U.S., Canada really doesn’t have a country. They do almost all of their business with us, and if we say we want our cars to be made in Detroit, with a stroke of a pen, I can make that happen. And other things, in addition to that, would not allow Canada to be a viable country.
