Clarkson is 100% right

I love Clarkson unconditionally and this is why he is retiring.... the car world has passed him and he is now the " I want faster horses" guy in a Model T world. The car world will miss his wit and voice .

That was the defining moment of this last show for me. It sums it all up nicely & that’s why I believe there is such an outpouring of emotion for the end of an era. Not just the show but for cars as we know them. The future isn’t looking bright just boring.

I’m sure he has a telephone which he winds up manually instead of an iPhone 😂😉

Why?

Electric cars have their purpose much like a kettle or a radiator but nobody thinks about them. They are soulless pieces of machinery.

He's 100% right, I have test driven many electric cars, they all feel exactly the same to drive literally exactly the same

The entire concept of a car was not just transport. It evolved into something far more for the enthusiast. The push from the "brand managers" in the automotive manufacturing is to breed out that visceral response to want a car. Just make it a fashion accessory.

It’s a shame that it’s come to this. We don’t know how good we had it, clarkson is one of the greatest things to come from this country and we’re losing his motoring tv partly because of this electric shite that’s being forced upon us.
