I asked Daniel Jeremiah who the next Sam Darnold is. It isn't a guy who switched teams. It's CJ Stroud. He explains how the Texans get to the Super Bowl:

Bill Barnwell on CJ Stroud: “How confident are we that there’s not some serious psychological affects from CJ Stroud being so awful in the post season. I think about another Texans quarterback in Matt Schaub where he was fine, and suddenly there was a stretch where Matt Schuab could not stop throwing pick sixes on a weekly basis. He then he got benched and was never a starter in the NFL again. Is he going to be pushing early in the year?”

Adam Schefter on the Texans & CJ Stroud: “First of all the big question this summer will be if and when they can get a contract extension done for CJ Stroud. When you hear extension, yeah I think they want to keep him there in Houston and it won’t surprise me if they tie him up.”

Man, I LOVE CJ Stroud. He has this confidence and poise about him that is really impressive for a rookie Quarterback. The #Texans won their first home game today since December 2021. CJ Stroud said “That ain’t flying for me” when asked about the lack of home wins, and said he wants Texans fans to be able to walk around in their gear with pride. When asked about the strong amount of #Steelers fans at the game, he said “we sent them home.” Ice cold killer. (🎥: @WillKunkelFOX)
