My buddy bought a Hyundai and had the same thing happen only two weeks after buying. A year later and he is still fighting them. Mechanic told him it’s very common and not to buy Hyundai, oops.

I’m a certified Hyundai tech. Don’t buy Hyundai almost all the cars we sell come back. It’s so bad BBB has a dedicated Hyundai line for reports. Also you think 13k blown engine bad. Pfft, we seen 1,500-9k engine blow it’s quite often and mind u I work at one dealership.
