the more i see classic sonic modded in, there more i fully believe that lost world was suppose to take place in the classic era (or at the very least use the classic era as the aesthetic)

Model looks brilliant! However this clip has just showed me how automated Lost World’s level design really was,with how they rely on dash pads and springs to create speed instead of player input. Never played the game but this doesn’t really encourage me to play it that much…

Tbf the first stage is probably the worst when it comes to that. But it's not like slw is a super beloved game regardless.
