Hot Take: The New Camera app on iOS 26 is GREAT i initially hated it when i first saw it on the keynote, but now that i've used it, I'm loving it It’s familiar while being really simple I've always felt that the Camera app on iOS has gotten really complex and convoluted in these last few years, and the new one fixes that, while still being as nuanced as the old app if you configure it the way you want it to behave takes some time to get used to, but this is great, it really does simplify the whole Ul but, this could've been the perfect time for Apple to introduce Manual controls as an Option in the Native app, even after all this redesign, Apple is still stubborn on not adding Manual Controls it's 2025 Apple,if you're gonna let users shoot LOG Video from the Native App, let us have Manual Controls as an option in the Native App, instead of downloading third party apps👏 i wonder how people shoot LOG Videos without Manual Controls💀

Yes, Claude is controlling my computer from my phone with Dispatch I don’t like posting about anything I haven’t actually tried myself Reposting a video is easy, quality content comes from actually experimenting with new features So I saw the announcement that Claude Dispatch now controls your computer and I simply asked it to open Twitter and like a Claude post Done ✅ Now we need SKILL.md files with instructions to use other apps on your computer… OMG! this is getting more interesting and more dangerous by the minute

Claude Mobile starts the idea... Ghostty finishes it I basically use Claude Mobile as a notepad now. Whenever something comes to mind, I open the app, pick a repo, and ask Claude to start exploring. Then I just let it run while I go on with my day. Later I jump into Claude Desktop and I’m right back in the same session, with context, structure, and a clearer shape of the idea. I tweak a few things to set up the coding phase. Finally, one click to Ghostty (video), open a couple of worktrees, and start working on the PR. IMPORTANT: when you move to Ghostty, it must be the exact same repo you started on mobile, otherwise the --teleport command will fail

My 11yo son was having trouble sleeping last night, so I told him he could watch his favorite YouTuber’s channel. He’s only allowed to use his TV on the weekends but I made an exception because he was having a rough night. It worked like a charm. When I came in to wake him up this morning, THIS is what was on his TV. I’m so creeped out rn, wtf 😱🤬

Something that AI unlocks is being able to try a few different variations of a feature quickly. I often ask my coding agent to come up with a few different variants and add a switcher so I can easily swap between them. It also saves your selection as a query param so I can show a specific variation to a colleague. This + a library like Leva for controls that directly influence an interaction makes prototyping and coming up with different ideas extremely easy.

Can't stop thinking about the art style Desimulate created so I tried to create it in Three.js to see if I could achieve a similar look and feel. I think I got pretty close with some careful pixel art billboarding and lighting. But there's some limitations to getting this particular perspective right so it would only work in environments where you limit where the player can walk to. Vibe coded on Grok 4, Claude Sonnet using Cursor.
