Claude can now code @TradingView indicators for you! I've always wanted an indicator with all my key intraday levels in one place, the way I wanted to see them. I won't stop until my entire system is coded. Learn how to start creating yours here👇

@tradingview I’m practicing to write indicators there as well. Cool stuff

@tradingview Appreciate it Lumi! I'm pleasantly surprised by the results so far. Wish you the best with your indicators. 🤝

@LumiTraders @tradingview I started these days on ChatGpt but will move to Claude I think

@LumiTraders @tradingview Did you manage to code pinescript on it? I have not tried Chatgpt for coding.

@tradingview I mean @grok was doing this 1.5 years ago.

@tradingview @grok Do you know how good it is? Haven't tried other AIs for coding.

@tradingview @grok There was def debugging but just fed the errors back to grok - but if you know what you’re looking for you can code a lot into conscript via AI- you don’t need anything special.

@tradingview @grok Yeah, what I've seen is that initially is a matter of feedback so it can fix small mistakes. Will try other AIs down the road to compare. Appreciate the input bro.

@tradingview @grok Anytime- when I’d get stuck in a loop I’d flip the entire code to GPT, visa versa- Claude def strong for coding and those challenges 1.5 years ago probably resolved now with Claude

@tradingview Try using MCP and hook it up to live charts it will keep trying kn it's own till it's successful

@tradingview Tonight I pulled Total3 data off tradingview, just 1 time so I can back test my auto trader against market trends at the macro level. It helped prove a theory with actual data. Also, I have support and resistance levels from the Coinbase orderbook. So helpful 2 see the levels!

@tradingview Or use BrowserOS MCP it works just as fine!

@tradingview that's cool does it really work?

Took me a few hours to get the first indicator working with all the settings I wanted. The second indicator was faster. So far I coded 1 with New Week Opening Gaps + Opening Range Gaps and the one I dicuss in the post that draws Key levels. I'll share them in future posts and continue to code others. 🤝

@tradingview ICT concept? I build brand new website with Claude for a total of 27 euro (including domain name)

I had to use @grok because Claude couldn’t figure it out. And @grok figured it out with a screenshot of part of what I wanted and Claude couldn’t grasp it for 3 days. And I don’t code or prompt, don’t have a degree, don’t have great English or a big vocabulary. But I had a picture and an imagination of what I wanted to see on the main chart. And got it done in an afternoon from scratch. Pretty cool stuff

@tradingview Useful Useful

@tradingview Glad to hear bro. 🤝 This is something that we definitely have to learn how to do as traders.

@tradingview Exactly brother at somepoint everyone need to touch this part

@tradingview Thanks for this. Shall practice

@tradingview I was in the fence about trying to code my own indicators with Claude but I've gotten some impressive results. Complex indicators take longer while you finess the idea or the model but it's worth the try. Hope the guide it's useful. 🤝

@tradingview This is really useful. Thank you

@tradingview Thanks

@tradingview This is exactly how I think about AI tooling - don't just use it once, systematically encode your entire workflow until the machine runs your playbook. The compounding gets wild.

@tradingview @TraderDiegoX I've tried manually gave instructions to claude. It is shi fr bro im not lying. It didn't completed full indicator.

In one of the indicators I had to be very specific about what I wanted, corrected the prompt a few times but I got a working indicator every time. When I got errors I just submitted the errors to claude and It fixed them rather quickly. I always used Sonnet 4.6, I image Opus would give better outputs but hits limits faster. Hope you manage to get it to work bro.

@tradingview Claude, can actually do much more than that!

@tradingview You can use MCP server to connect to TV to create , edit pinescript, run strategy, there are lot of claude skills in github

@tradingview Yeah I saw a post about it recently. Will git it a try! Appreciate it man.

@tradingview Though not very useful and very slow, TV should have a native one but they will not release it because everyone will exploit it; making the indicator is not a big deal , give hard task to claude to build a strategy for you and optimize it!!! Thats the hard part

@tradingview i tried with chatgpt last year with my own method that i use but it didnt turn out quiet well though that's why i asked for simple things like an indicator to draw horizontal line on 9:30 opening price, it even messed that up😹 thinking about claude for the few days actually

@tradingview The rate of improvement in crazy. I think we all should start with simple indicators and build from there. 👍

@tradingview Thanks for it Diego

@tradingview Claude been making me indicators for over a year now 🤷🏽♂️
