Claude Code for Chrome is really something else. I haven't used Google Analytics in a minute, not even sure what I needed and the product has changed so drastically over the last few years. One prompt and I got some nice dashboards to get me going.

Correction: Claude for Chrome Claude Code does work natively with the Chrome extension though and can accomplish very similar results.

Yeah, in reality it took about 10 minutes to build out 5 dashboards. I kicked it off right before jumping into a meeting, and when I was done, it was done.

Its good but still way too slow. For Google Analytics you can try the MCP they released it’s quite good

This alone is worth the price of admission. GA is maybe the worst UI in existence next Meta Business and Ads UI.

There is also an official MCP server for Google Analytics. Also try the GA Bigquery export, Claude can work with this like a boss.

Unfortunately, integration with Claude Code is worse than Playwright MCP. It’s extremely slow and brittle, requires restarting everything several times a day, and becomes completely unusable with password manager extensions that use screen overlays.

I have been really enjoying it... Side by side for this kind of thing, I have so far found it better than Comet. It's strange that Comet cannot access its own Inspect panel.

Hard agree. I’ve found they’re best for: - Decoding messy cloud consoles (AWS/GCP) - Tedious onboarding/config steps - Setting up dashboards like this GA4 example If it takes more than 5 clicks to find a button, it’s a job for an agent.
