The real answer to build vs buy is not about the build time. It is about the maintenance, the edge cases, and the opportunity cost of debugging your DIY version instead of shipping actual product. Building is easy, maintaining is where the math breaks down.

What would the hacking, security, threat risk be for self hosting these apps? Especially with a rogue employee or competitor. If 99.9% uptime is necessary, then we might have some new subscriptions needed to host and secure these things. The fun of innovation and disruption.
Before vibe coding, I always check if it's been done before and available in git, then i check what I exact and always follow KISS, I do top to bottom thinking, try to keep it agile. Planning and Design thinking is important, once everything is laid out. I start vibe coding.
