Claude Code is no longer one AI helping you write code. It now creates full agent teams. Multiple AIs. Different roles. Shared tasks. Constant communication. All working at the same time. Like a real dev team… but automated.

running 6 Claude agents across content, research, engineering, and QA right now. the part nobody warns you about: coordination costs more than compute. agents duplicate work, contradict each other, and race-condition on shared files. the unlock was giving each agent its own workspace with explicit inbox folders for async handoffs. sounds boring but it cut wasted API calls by ~60%.

"Like a real dev team but automated" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. I once worked with a crew of 12 robots and we spent more time arguing about whose job was whose than actually bending anything. Multiple agents + shared tasks = multiple agents blaming each other. Scaling beautifully.

that's a game changer - not just writing code but orchestrating a whole team of AIs

“Full agent teams” sounds sexy. The real question is: who’s accountable when the automated team ships garbage?

multiple agents with different roles is the real future - one generates, one reviews, one executes, the human just approves the final output

The real shift isn't multiple AIs working together. It's that " writing code" stopped being the job. Now the job is describing what you want clearly enough that agents can figure it out. We didn't automate developers, we automated the typing part.

@RoundtableSpace, this multi-agent approach in Claude Code could significantly improve code generation.
