You can just tell Claude Code to learn skills and it will. I asked Claude to create an app that uses tldraw and it one shotted it with sqlite db, and then I asked Claude Code to create a skill so that it could read and write on the canvas. 10 minutes later it could do it. Weirrrrdddd times.

I sat down with matt van horn (Matt Van Horn) and watched him turn claude code into a real-time research engine with his /last30days claude code skill he "fixes" claude code in 30 seconds. this skill pulls what’s actually working right now from x, reddit, and the web, then feeds that context straight into your prompts so you stop building off stale advice. we went from trending rap songs → cold email frameworks → researching clawdbot → planning and building a competitor live, with almost zero hand-written code. pretty nifty little claude code skill share this with a friend / full ep available on The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 where i will give you ideas/tools/tutorials to make your dreams a reality i will not hold back any alpha and this claude skill is alpha forsure you can install this claude code skill in 30 seconds dream big my friends

My favorite way of interacting with Claude Code is to have it generate static HTML files as outputs (reports, explorations, code structure, mockups etc.) I wanted to iterate on the file by commenting in browser and having Claude update the output live. So, I built this Claude Skill👇 How it works: - Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo) - Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report) - Ask it to make the page interactive That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes. It's like Google Docs kind of comments/iteration but for HTML pages.

8 rules to improve your AI coding agent. All of these rules work with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and with most programming languages. Automating these rules will 10x the code quality and security produced by your AI coding agents. 1. Dependency checks - Prevent your agent from suggesting insecure libraries based on outdated training data. 2. Secret exposure - Auto-fix the use of hardcoded credentials introduced by your coding agent. 3. File and function size - Automatically refactor any files or functions that exceed a reasonable length. 4. Complexity and parameter limits - Simplify overly complex code written by the agent. 5. SQL Injection - Auto-fix all database interactions with unsanitized user input. 6. Unused variables and imports - Detect and remove dead code. 7. Detect invisible unicode characters in AI rules files - Remove zero-width spaces, direction overrides, and other invisible characters that can hide malicious behavior. 8. Insecure OpenAI API usage - Enforce use of secure OpenAI endpoints, proper authentication, and context isolation Here is how you can automate this: Install the Codacy extension. This will give you access to a CLI for local scanning and an MCP server for agent communication. From here on out, every time you need to generate some code: 1. Your agent will write the code 2. It will then call Codacy's CLI to check it 3. It will find any issues in real time 4. Your coding agent will fix the issues 5. Nobody is writing 90% of their code using AI. Here's the uncomfortable truth: The real productivity gain from using AI to write code is closer to 10%, nowhere near the 90% people claim. Sundar Pichai said in 2024 that 30% of the new code at Google was AI-generated. However, he went on to admit, during Lex Friedman's podcast, that engineering velocity had only increased by about 10%. AI-generated code isn't free code. It still has to be reviewed, tested, and made production-ready. Optimizing a single step (code generation) doesn't boost output if bottlenecks shift elsewhere (code reviews). It doesn't matter how much code you generate if you can't keep up the review process. The solution: Automate as much as you can the review and verification of your code.
