@tradingview Perplexity Comet browser does most of this quite well. Here it is scanning @edgeful and marking up the chart according to mutiple filtered reports.

Pretty cool! The main difference between the 2 is comet browser is i assume is controlling the UI of the webpage, Where as the MCP and CLI I built is allowing the LLM to use internal API’s and controlling it from the backend of the desktop application. Nonetheless the future is here and we will have agents in the loop of trading become very normalized for the retail traders very soon.

difference use case all together in my opinion. this is showcasing how an LLM can control trading platform, insert and compile indicators and fetch the indicator data directly from tradingview from an internal api. while using a data stream directly from provider like say data bento i would envision it would be meant for the LLM to manage and turning on and off a set of trading algorithms. allowing the LLM to just make trades for you is insane to me because there is no way to back test forward test or run monte carlo on results without concrete repeatable processes

Impressive work. 78 tools through CDP on a local Electron debug port is a creative approach and the Pine Script compile/fix loop is genuinely useful for indicator development. Two things that conern us slighty- First, it's reading undocumented TradingView internals through a debug interface. Any desktop update can break the entire tool chain without warning and there's no migration path. Second, port 9222 open locally means any process on your machine can connect to that session. Worth being aware of, especially if you're running it alongside other software. That said, this has us seriously considering building a Pelican MCP server. Our backtest engine, conviction scoring, and cross-asset analysis exposed as MCP tools that any developers and traders could plug into their existing workflows would be cool. Builders building. We like seeing it. Great work!

In my previous post, I shared my first impressions after trying BingX Ultra TradingView. But for me, a trading feature only proves its value when it actually improves my workflow in real market conditions not just on paper. So over the past few days, I decided to trade exclusively with Ultra TradingView and record the entire process to see whether it could genuinely make mobile trading more efficient. 1⃣ Workflow #1: Managing an Open BTC Position After identifying a support zone, I opened a BTC long at 59.397. 🎯 Take Profit: 59.491 🛡 Stop Loss: 59.342 What I really wanted to test wasn't the order execution speed, but how convenient it is to manage an open position afterward. Instead of switching to a separate Position panel like I usually do on other platforms, I simply dragged both my Take Profit and Stop Loss levels directly on the chart. Every adjustment was reflected instantly, making the entire position management process much more intuitive. 2⃣ Workflow #2: Planning Two ETH Scenarios For ETH, I didn't rush into a market order. Instead, I prepared two trading scenarios in advance. 📍 Long Entry: 1,564 📍 Short Entry: 1,573 Both pending orders were placed directly within the TradingView chart, allowing me to monitor my trading plan, adjust entry levels when needed, and manage multiple scenarios without leaving the chart. After several days of using Ultra TradingView, what impressed me most wasn't the 108 technical indicators or 86 drawing tools. It was the trading workflow itself. From market analysis to order placement and position management, everything happens on a single chart. For someone who trades frequently on mobile, eliminating unnecessary screen switching makes a noticeable difference especially during fast-moving markets.
