1/ Design is felt as well as seen. Alot of people were asking how I turned my Handi case study into a short reel. Here’s how I went about it, and a prompt you can use for yours. 2/ I saw a simple reel presentation (from @wearemotto) a simple white list of section titles. As each one becomes active, the panel opens to show the work. Nothing fancy. Just clear. And clear is what a case study needs. 3/ I didn’t create anything new for it. Everything came from what already existed: the Handi slides on Behance (I shared the case study link with Claude) and the brand guideline. 29 sections, from strategy to logo, type, colour, illustration, photography and out into the real world. Your case study already has a story in it. Mine did too. 4/ My notes were simple: – the motion has to feel like the reference – every slide must be fully visible in frame. No cropping the work. Key slides hold so you can see them. Supporting slides flick past quickly. Hold, flick, flick, hold. That pattern is what makes it feel edited, not just scrolled. 5/ Then I made it work everywhere: – 1920×1080 for YouTube and LinkedIn – 1080×1920 for Reels Same story, same timing, with the layout rebuilt for each frame so nothing important gets cut off. 6/ Full transparency: I directed it, and Claude built it in code from my actual slides. The tools keep changing. The thinking doesn’t. You still have to know what you want, what feels off, and why. Here’s a prompt you can use with my reel as your reference 👇 Create a case study reel like this sample video, using the slides from my Behance project [link] and my brand guideline [attached]. STRUCTURE - Copy the sample's format: a list of section titles. The active title turns dark, and its slide opens in a panel beneath it, then closes as the next one opens. - Use my Behance slides in order. Give each section a short title and a category tag (e.g. Brand Strategy, Visual Identity, Rollout). - Use my brand fonts and colours from the guideline for the titles, tags and background. MOTION - Make the motion exactly like the reference: key slides hold for about 1 second, supporting slides flick past quickly (hold, flick, flick, hold), with smooth easing and no hard cuts. - Animated slides (GIF or MP4) should play as loops inside their panels. FRAMING - Every slide carrying imagery must be fully visible in the frame. Never crop the work. FORMATS - 1920x1080 (16:9) and 1080x1920 (Instagram Reel), 60fps MP4. - Rebuild the layout for each format; don't just scale it down. END SLIDE (on both) - White mode, with [my hero illustration] as the end frame. - No small explainer text. Just "Full brand case study on Behance", large, with the Behance logo very obvious. .
