🚨Claude Opus 5.5 VS GPT 6.1 Sol. i gave both models the same simple prompt: create an animated website from a single image. Opus took around 1hr 20mins, while GPT-6.1 finished in just 15mins. both came up with really nice concepts, but Opus clearly spent more time on the... show more

coconut button website by claude opus 5.5:

off-duty website by GPT 6.1 sol:

Claude did it much better of course

yes yes ofcourse

also cooked something interesting today

nice!!!

Love these side-by-side tests. Did you compare code quality too, or just the visual result?

moh you are awesome at this

I’ve been enjoying my time with this models

same prompt, two very different tradeoffs — speed vs execution is the real comparison here

btw the prompt was vague, and I gave both models access to higgsfield MCP. for the animation.

its good job

Prompt please

nice for e-commerce

yeah yeah, I think I might start selling em website lol

Speed versus polish gets interesting.

I’m actually impressed at Sol performance here, I might have to start using it a lot more

I’m genuinely surprised that y’all are impressed with sol performance.

opus details still edging out gpt speed tho

Would love a round two with the same time budget. Give the fast one the remaining hour to iterate, then compare mobile layout, keyboard navigation and animation smoothness. First draft speed vs finished-site quality is a much more interesting fight.

Opus taking over an hour for a similar task shows it's not just about speed

Same prompt 3 times on Opus 5.5 and I got the same cream page 3 times. It has a favorite

Either way is a nice work really

They both looks so good

yes they both delivered but, I like opus 5.5 delivery more. the animation feel is superior

All you have to worry about Claude is the time, but with GPT you have to worry about the quality and the usage.

Sol cannot slide / hroziontal slider when at clothes part in mobile

Opus5.5 No.1

How much was the total cost for each?

this is really good bro

yes sir

what effort level was opus on? 1hr 20 for one page sounds like max. on medium it might close that gap

it was on high, just high

wait sol did way better too not same slop UI

yeah sol did tried this time, it was on extra high level. and it deliver in just 15mins

15 mins vs 1h20 is a huge gap for results this close
