One thing you'll notice listening to women talk about divorce is it's always about them, not about their children. Divorce is harder on kids than the death of a parent. "What if I was wasting my time" - years later your kids will be dealing with the consequences of you "not wasting time." Statistically it's more likely they'll be doing that from prison (if dad's not in the picture - and so many women fight for that to be the case). If we had more people fighting to make a good home for their children instead of living their best life society would be a lot better than it is.

A lot of people assume that declining birth rates are mainly due to college-educated women delaying motherhood. The idea is that they put off having kids for too long, run out of time, and end up having fewer children than they originally wanted. That’s why so many policy solutions focus on things like tax breaks and subsidized childcare—to make it easier for women to balance careers and family life. But that’s not really what’s happening. It’s true that college-educated women are having kids a bit later, but not by much. In the U.S., the average age at which these women have their first child has only gone up from 28 in 2000 to 30 today. And they’re still having about as many kids as their peers did a generation ago—just slightly fewer than what they say would be ideal, which has always been the case. The real driver of declining fertility rates in wealthy countries isn’t professional women—it’s younger, poorer women who are delaying childbirth and ultimately having fewer kids. In the U.S., more than half of the drop in fertility since 1990 comes from a sharp decline in births among teenagers. Part of that is because more of them are going to college. But even among those who don’t, birth rates are down. In 1994, the average first-time mother without a college degree was 20. Now, about two-thirds of women without degrees in their 20s still haven’t had their first child.

The Clayton School district in Missouri consistently ranks as #1 or #2 in that state. Their graduates go on to the Ivies and the most competitive non-Ivy schools. The price for this is that your kids grow up indoctrinated in gender. Here is a fawning local news piece on the district's gender neutral bathrooms - for all students K-12. It is not compassionate to play along with the ruminations of the trans identifying students who are interviewed here. The reporter knows nothing of what awaits these kids if they medicalize. The kids know nothing of it either. It's OK though, as Dr. Cameron Poole, Chief of DEI, helpfully explains, in the Clayton School District they "take their direction from the kids," "the kids dictate what [they] do," and "it's hard to ignore the kids' voice." All of that is true if you are not a fully formed adult yourself. Also, the Clayton District is really rich. Like really, really, rich. So the hundreds of thousands of dollars they have spent to facilitate the confusion of their students is not a big deal for them.
