His github before clawbot:

Gonna be funny when these guys are crying a couple of years from now that there are no more graduates coming out of technology departments cause talk like this scared everybody away.

there is no ceo, this is an open source project

programming was never about "just writing code" (code output was never the issue), it was and has always been about solving problems. the art of solving problems will never go away

programming is a hobby the same way professional athletes just enjoy playing catch with their friends on weekends

lol openclaw has Issues 4.1k Pull requests 5k+ Security 223 800 Contributors try to fix the 4.1k crap Issues real Programming skills required to fix 4.1k Issues of AI crap code . the Clawdbot cant fix it itself ,debug Programming is full career now to fix ai craps

understanding how your code works apparently doesnt make sense, wanting guarantees in software, wanting correct software, wanting to develop your own mind and become a better problem solver apparently doesnt make sense? give it to someone else just copy and paste from the web/AI

Be the right tribe, work 1000 hours on two projects, make tens of millions from fellow tribesman directing corporate cash your way, help foreign intelligence. Yeah. “Hobby.”

Programming has always been a tool. The career was never the typing. It was the problem-solving. That part isn't going anywhere.

it’s a hobby that can make millions . That’s what’s crazy

"developer salaries reach stupidly high amounts and they will go away" -> It can start with his salary. My salary is perfectly fine and is not going away. I think these AI heads like to wax poetically about a future that is not coming. It's sad.

@enjojoyy Coding isn’t about just crank out code. It’s creating something and having fun while doing it.

It’s a lie. You still need an common sense and understanding

That explains a lot about the clawdbot repository.

I think the human creativity is so fascinating that programming will always be something special

That’s why he got a job at OpenAI.

It was always a hobby, I just happen to get paid for it. 😁

Big difference between coding and software engineering. The first one will go away but second one will remain in demand, just the role will change

Thats so touching. I almost cried. 😭 1 like = 1 pray 🙏🤡

Feels like it ngl.

You are selling stuff… humans use software and humans will need need to control and understand it, otherwise it won’t solve a sufficient problem nor will it get any attention.

Is there any single serious application built by AI yet?

For him, wait til he has to write production code

He's not wrong. I have absolutely zero coding experience and I'm building my own applications with Claude Code.

A wise man once said if you want to work make from your hobby your career, clawdbot is a piece of crap 💩

I am not surprised that CEO of AI company promote these kinds of ideas, it's his job. Programming as a skill in my opinion will just evolve into something else. And mantra will always be: more, more, so... Until now, you were developing one product for half a year or maybe the whole year, but now you will have to publish a couple of products in a week or so...

So all the Anthropic and Open AI engineers are fired? Sleight of hand. You wanna buy our $100M special corporate package stat! We might run out of compute and you will be stuck! Sales pitches beyond any previous hype cycle.

💯🙌

No barriers any more !!

@grok what podcast is this from?

He's a retard

hobby that pays is still a legit career

Very expensive hobby powering the global economy.
