Uhm, if it was clogged, how did you feed the rope through?

How do you get the chain through in the first place? I would be hooking a chain to drag behind the tire that I leave in there when I'm done, so next time I just have to hook up a tire and pull it through (with another chain behind it for next time).

I've seen this done. They use a pole, about like the diameter half the size of a soda can. It would have a block thing at one end so they can push it through using the tractor. This was fairly long so they might have had two poles they'd connect. Chain is at the end then they pull it through from the other side. You can see the tracks where they did that.

"Cor! [laughing] That's the biggest turd ever." If you have young children, this is a phrase you end up saying quite a lot.

To all the reremaxxers in here. They used a poll to feed the chain through. Only then do they pull the tire that’s attached to the chain through the pipe. Simple.

Do they put the chain in while installing the culvert, then use it when it clogs? Also teather a new chain on to tow behind the tire and keep leap frogging them.

This is AI. How would the rope get into the pipe since it’s attached to the vehicle?

In Texas it would take a crew of 10 to navel gaze, then cut the pipe out, install new one...all in 90+ days. And blocked traffic for 120 days while they thought about it.
