Terrible parenting!! The girl now believes that a husband and wife relationship consists of the woman hitting the man and everyone laughing about it.

Yeah, eat this or you're gonna get hit is a good message for a toddler

Just teaches kids that violence gets people to do what you want.

She's learning that the people that she trusts the most in life will betray or hurt one another and she must obey in order to not get hurt as well....by her own parents. Imagine what she will allow from strangers with this kind of programming. Humor can have consequences.
