Meet Shawn Desman @DaRealSD - #JunoAward Winning Artist and now Childhood Cancer Canada Ambassador. When a radio station introduced singer #ShawnDesman to a young fan named Joshua, it was the start of a special two-year friendship.

Joshua found solace in Shawn’s music while undergoing chemotherapy, and their heartwarming bond gave this young cancer patient strength through his toughest battles.

Josh passed away in 2008, but his courage and love for life still inspire Shawn, his music, and now his role as a Childhood Cancer Canada ambassador. Read Shawn’s story about the power of music and mentorship here.
