If they truly circumvented the cap using these companies, they deserve to be punished (significantly) But all I’m saying is that Pablo isn’t a 100% purely objective source. He has done a great job uncovering evidence and bringing the story to light, but he is incentivized to sensationalize certain parts of the story and build anticipation for his episodes I’m not saying he’s lying, but the narrative he has crafted that connects all his evidence together has some holes/inconsistencies (Daktronics timeline, the incentives of a fraudulent company like Aspiration, no on-the-record sources w faces/names attached to them, and many others) There is definitely a chance he’s right, but it isn’t a certainty (like everyone is saying) All I’m saying is to wait for the investigation to come out and then we can scrutinize the way it was handled

What was I wrong about? I posted this 2 weeks ago when ESPN reported the investigation found nothing and the Clippers wouldn’t be punished I just said to wait for the investigation to play out If you want to criticize me for being tough on Pablo, that’s fair But I just wanted the investigation to play out bc the facts at the time didnt add up (from espn)

@PabloTorre is a JOURNALIST his job is to REPORT information that the public might be interested in. It’s the job of the NBA to verify his claims! Also in that same ESPN article they mentioned the “NBA found no wrongdoing” but in the SAME article “they working on “settlement” 🤷🏾‍♂️

That was the narrative he was selling Then 5 days later he shows emails of clips management talking to daktronics abt kawhi in 2021 Switches up in a week No on-the-record sources No hard evidence connecting Ballmer directly to Kawhi via these companies Doesn’t fit ur narrative tho I never said Torre was wrong I said we don’t know yet Let’s see what comes out in the investigation
