Climate change has had devastating impacts on BC. With winter on its way, heat pumps are efficient (even in extreme cold), cost-effective and a clean way to heat your home. That’s why I’m advocating for the federal government to bring their heat pump program to BC.

How has climate change been devastating to BC? How are heat pumps in BC going to change the global atmosphere? It won’t.

I'm not a Liberal, but I care about climate change. Click the video below & sign the Petition: Conservative Climate Leadership in America. 🇺🇸

No to heat pump program for me in BC. Is David Eby going to refund folks when the heat pumps don’t work in cold climates?

No such thing as climate change. There are seasons tho where weather changes. And you well know the wildfires were set by arsonists like this one.

I know somebody in the lower mainland with a heat pump and it’s not efficient in the wintertime. Her gas fireplace is on 24/7. BC Hydro has stated they want to raise rates next year. People I know with electric baseboard heating in new condos say it’s very expensive to run them.

Cost effective? They’re $20k

If Canada was wiped off the face of the map it wouldn’t make a dent in the climate David.

I live in the Lower Mainland. My heat pump runs constantly when the temperature gets near zero and doesn’t keep my place warm enough. Hence I use my natural gas furnace and natural gas fireplace instead in the winter. People, don’t fall for it. Heat pumps are air conditioners.

Heat pumps are great as a secondary source, but not as a primary source. David is allowing politics to take precedence over his own countrymen.

If heat pumps were really so awesome, the government wouldn't need to be involved in promoting or incentivizing them.

Yes, sounds great. And if a winter storm brings down power lines, what happens to your heat pump? I’ll stick with my high-efficiency natural gas furnace. Thanks.
