1975 I was sent to school front office for laughing at our science teacher demanding I accept ozone depletion would freeze earth by year 2000. I did tell her to stop using her aerosol hair spray.

An ice age has happened multiple times and far worse than even the arctic cold that happened in Buffalo. People don't seem to understand the climate goes through cycles but where is the charity and funding if there is no fear of climate change. Fear is profitable.

1970s: The world will end due to Global Cooling 2000s: The world will end due to Global Warming <...err, earth isn't warming. Awkward.> 2010's: Ok, the world will end due to Climate Change. This rebrand works for anything, yay! ...now with inflation, it's the Climate Emergency!
