"Hit by the climate we did not warm, and hit again by the wars we did not start." Powerful words by Nepal PM Balen Shah PMO in his debut United Nations speech a month since the devastating Bhotekoshi Trishuli floods that have killed atleast 1400 people and 6000 are missing. Amid ongoing wars and boycott of speeches of leaders at the UNGA, Balen Shah's speech met with strong applause when he reminds the world about who is actually paying the heavy costs for the mindless bloodied war. "Inter-continental missiles arrive on time. Rifles and ammunition cross borders, clear every bottleneck, meet each deadline. But a peasant in Nepal cannot procure his fertilizer or fuel at market price at a time of need. We have built a world with flawless logistics for war and broken logistics for food." Swarnim Waglé Bikas Rauniar Kanak Mani Dixit Nepal Embassy, India Full speech-
