Much more likely we’ll see more pedestrianisation across London. Possibly the re-emergence of a tram network. And the banning of non-electric cars in the centre of London. Which most people who live in central London would quite like. Although I acknowledge people in the outskirts of London do need to use their cars for day to day purposes. It’s why after 2030 you won’t be able to buy petrol or diesel cars at all. Which is a good thing. I wouldn’t support limiting people’s travel for cars purchased in the last 10yrs. But for cars older than that we should be incentivising people to upgrade their vehicles via tax breaks.
