Good. Its a abused feature. It wasn't meant for competition. Maybe if you are actually deaf and somewhat a way to prove you need it you should have it. But 99.9% of Competitive players don't need it.

i lowk thinks it is a good change, you cant fall down a two inch ledge while lurking without them knowing you are there from 30m away. this makes awareness a much more important factor, especially in endgame.

Visual audio needs to go and watch the skill ceiling go through the roof

I don’t use visual audio but a lot of players do and it’d be great for players that are deaf as well. Also, early chapter 1 had the best audio, it provided great spatial awareness and depth, they changed it one day and it got worse and stayed that way ever since.

Bro just make normal footsteps louder or make the visual audio pop up after a slight delay. There’s no reason to remove this. Like, it’s already a hard game, bro at this point require me to do edit everything two times, one with my hands, and one with my feet
