FROM INBOX | This morning at 7:15, I was a$$aulted by a City of Harare traffic officer. The incident began around 7:05 when two officers approached me as I was parking in a bay. They claimed that one of my car tyres had stepped on a white line. When I asked for a moment to park properly, one officer jumped into the back of my car, while the other clamped it and then also got into the vehicle. They demanded that I drive to their Coventry Road office but then began pressuring me for money, implying that if I didn't give them something, I would be charged $98 once they took the car in. I explained that I didn't have any money, but they continued to threa+en me. I started recording the conversation on my phone, took out $20, and as they were stepping out, I told them I had recorded everything. One officer immediately rushed off, and the other followed. When I demanded my money back, one of them attempted to flee and then śtruck me on the chin with a baton stick and a clenched fist before running away. I sustained a cut on my chin and it’s swollen. I have reported the incident to the police.

Toronto police arrested a brave Canadian journalist, David Menzies, once again. I asked why they arrest Canadian journalists and do nothing against the masked terrorist sympathizers who came to intimidate the Jewish community. They did not respond. Kemonte Hampton was beginning to kneel in the QT gas station parking lot, after he was stopped for jaywalking and a police officer comes up from behind him and shoves him to the ground. While the officers were try to get Hampton in handcuffs, one of the officers did not put his patrol car in park. In reverse, the car goes right over Hampton. Officers pull him out from underneath the car and still put him in handcuffs all while Hampton is crying and repeating, “Y’all just ran me over, bro.” Multiple officers are on scene and very few words are spoken to Hampton. They claim after the incident in April that Hampton’s injuries were minor.

Today, I experienced one of the most traumatic moments of my life. I had gone to a friend’s place to lend him my MacBook charger because I stay in Ikorodu his charger had stopped working. After leaving his place and heading home, I was stopped by men who identified themselves as Nigerian police officers. They were not dressed in standard police uniforms, which made the situation even more frightening. I was forcefully pushed into my car, accused of being a cultist without any evidence, and subjected to intimidation. My phone was searched, I was threatened, and I was repeatedly told that if I did not cooperate, I would be shot, killed, or have my car taken away. They drove me around to different locations, including from Ikorodu to ketu under a bridge, while continuing to threaten me. Under fear for my life, I was forced to open my banking apps and make transfers. In total, about ₦700,000 was taken from my account through coercion. They wanted me to pay them 5 million which I don’t even have, They also forced me to call friends and demand money from them, insisting that I raise millions of naira despite having committed no crime. This was not a voluntary transaction. Every action I took was because I genuinely feared for my life. I am sharing this video because no Nigerian should have to experience this. No one should be threatened with weapons, intimidated, or forced to hand over their hard earned money by people who are supposed to protect them. I am reporting this incident to the appropriate authorities and financial institutions, and I hope those responsible are identified and held accountable. I have recently left the FCT Police Command in Abuja, where I tried unsuccessfully to prevent the extraordinary rendition of Apostle Festus Alilu to Asaba, Delta State after his arrest last night, which resulted from stated allegations against one Pastor Pst. Korede Komaiya of COZA. My actions are driven by my strong opposition to tyranny and police misconduct. I have contacted the Delta State police commissioner, advising him to desist from engaging in illegal acts and have made consistent calls, but he has yet to answer. Police Deny Assaulting Man For Refusing To Give Up His Phone The Nigeria Police Force has reacted to the viral video where police officers are seen dragging a man on the road in the Ishashi area of Ojo, Lagos State. The police spokesman in Lagos state, Benjamin Hundeyin, said this in reaction to the video which was shared on Twitter. In the viral video shared on Sunday, police officers are seen dragging a young man and attempting to prevent him from using his phone. Reacting to a user's claim that police officers beat the man because he refused to give up his phone, Hundeyin debunked it, stating that arrested suspects in sensitive cases such as cultism will not be allowed to make calls immediately so that they do not alert their gang members to destroy evidence. He tweeted, “Your narrative is wrong and misleading. It is a fact that Ishashi is one of the hotbeds of cultism in Lagos State. It is equally a known fact that these cultists engage in heavy drug abuse. So doing a random search of three young men moving together and finding hard drugs on one of them would definitely call for a closer look. “Yes, he was being prevented from making a call. No one attempted to collect his phone. This is not the norm in all cases. This particular case borders on a felony, cultism. Freshly arrested suspects in cases as sensitive as cultism will not be allowed to make calls IMMEDIATELY so that they don’t alert their gang members to destroy evidence and bolt. Calls can later be made after the initial documentation and in the presence of the IPO.
