Toto driver, Sabir Mir, committed suicide on Facebook Live due to extortion by TMC leaders. Local TMC leaders had forced all Toto drivers to work entire day for party workers for just one hundred fifty rupees. When Sabir Mir could not go due to illness, he was abused, threatened and beaten the next day. The local TMC controlled union even ordered that he must not drive his Toto anymore.
