Robin Poe did 3 spirits visit you why are you posting about game development

*n

I really like that the clouds obey the pixel grid and are aren't smoothed out :] really satisfying to look at

glad the music is good. So many of these projects don't invest in that. I'm like an 8 bit music wizard (it's so fun to make), so it hollows out my core & makes me cry for days when I hear bad 8 bit music.

Imagine if you posted gameplay next?

Why le Clouds be block shaped??? El Minecrafto referencia?

Doesn't look very realistic, shouldn't it be moving 8 pixels at a time? Or is each tile being animated to convey the illusion of movement? Wouldn't it be more realistic to have the clouds be a dithered pattern that moves in the object layer? Also where's the CRT filter? Sus...

charming!

Let me do my best cope-post. Guys - GUYS - he's posting clips of polish, that means he's ABOUT TO RELEASE IT Anyway good work, looks cool

So cute. 😭

who does the music?

It's beautiful

Can you pick those berries? Because thats what I would be trying to do.

Very cool, subtle details

Fuck, it really can be that easy, isn't it? I've been fighting with implementation of a weather tracker for a while, in order to modify the hakoniwa according to a weather enum (pondered user-pluggable weather, but scope creep). I could just pre-generate weather/clouds.

Hm... Movement is off, they're on a weird beat and jump way too much Of you wanna adhere to the pixel grid maybe dithering the movement could help? Can't really see on my phone if they are moving one pixel at a time either

Robin have you played Mewgenics?

no

do it!

this is very lovely but how on earth would an nes game have clouds
