While I can respect his opinion, I disagree completely. Peoples problem with show isn’t that they “fantasy booked” the ending. It’s that the writers wrote things into the show that they just chose/forgot to ever address. Which made things not make sense.

He's right BUT - the real issue is that people who don't like something can't shut up about it. If you see a positive Stranger Things post it will have 10k likes and 40 people responding bitching. I mean look at this post. 1.6k likes - and most of the comments are bitching.

Online “fandom” culture ironically is one of the most antisocial phenomenons. People think being obsessively critical of everything they consumes means they care more or are more tuned into art. In reality it only comes across as loud, aggressive parasocial nitpicking.

Honestly after watching Welcome to Derry Season 1 finale I had high hopes for the Stranger Things finale. They really rushed the battle and it didn’t let the epilogue set in correctly.

Okay so this is actually NOTHING like dungeons & dragons. Players can ask “hey what happened to that djinn we let loose” and there is a definitive real hard answer I can give as to what happened. @CMPunk you are welcome to sit it on our dnd games sometime and find out

The issue wasn't the epilogue, it was the final boss battle. Much like Game of Thrones, they spent years building up this monster (Vecna is the Ice King) and you imagine an epic battle...and it just turns into a wet fart.

I agree with him all but the part where he said people create a fantasy in their head the problem is the internet having 3000 million theories and the one they didn't have was the script. It sets expectations and then doesn't happen. Thats what makes people the way they are

im not angry just really dissapointed with how they decided to end it it kind of happens everytime a show goes for way too long when it should have just ended a couple seasons ago

I'm fully with him on this. People love to fantasy book the way they think they want it and just refuse to go along for the ride anymore.

I don’t mind the opinion that El is dead, it’s the way people want her dead because they don’t like her character or Millie. I just feel like they wouldn’t have shown El in that beautiful place if she was dead. It would’ve been better to leave it up to us and not show El anywhere
