President Trump has warned that pregnant women should not take Tylenol, claiming that acetaminophen use during pregnancy increases the chance of autism. But GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, a doctor, disputes any linkage. “I'm going to go where the evidence takes me,” he says, explaining, “The best evidence is that there is no relationship” between Tylenol and autism. “By the way, if you have a high fever during pregnancy, that may be a risk for autism,” Cassidy adds.
