CNN's Chief National Security Analyst drops a bombshell. The US has moved all the pieces into the region for a massive ground invasion of Iran. They are openly discussing seizing Kharg Island and the Strait of Hormuz while pretending to negotiate peace. Absolute deception.

Obviously, the US, perhaps inadvertently, is telling the world that its doctrine of warfare is to use peace negotiations as pretence to attack its adversaries. The deception involved makes the US disreputable. Iran, so far, in its conduct has proved far more honourable.

This is factually false. There are significant and notable forces for a targeted raid or seizure of certain territory. There is not enough for any kind of "massive ground invasion."

The USS Boxer amphibious group is already en route with 4,500 Marines. They're openly discussing this while Trump claims 'very good and productive conversations' are happening. Kharg Island is under Iranian sovereignty. Why would they want to seize it? The US is so greedy. Why is the US out of control and constantly violating international law?

I don’t think anyone is deceived. It’s obvious that Iran would not accept those terms and Trump’s statements no longer hold any value with anyone other than MAGA. So I think it’s just someone to feed the news cycle and prepare portfolios for what’s coming
