Lakshya Sen was unseeded and finished 4th. He’s done more than expected

Looks like Prakash Padukone is just returning favour to the federation for sending him to paris. He must understand that Lakshya Sen has achieved something which no other Indian had achieved so far, by reaching Men’s Semifinal. That’s a remarkable achievement.

As long as we keep celebrating 4th positions, they won't convert into medals. Calling them good performances while losing out on medals despite having potential, that's wrong.Own up bad performances. Everyone has to own it up. There is never a bad time for constructive criticism.

This is fine, as long as Federations and Governments dont take credit when Athletes get medal. Lets be fair. If Federations/Governments cant be blamed then then cant be credited either. The great saying "Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan"

Padukone is a legend. But you don’t criticise players in public. None of us know the goings on behind the scenes but Lakshya was superb.

ya from next Olympics we don't want to hear from players that government didn't gave them facilities. we can see from our naked eyes government is providing better infrastructure, equipment's etc. now that time gone when athletes puts all blame on government.

I fully agree with Prakash sir. Our government is doing enough whatever they can do. It’s high time the athletes/players to start taking responsibility and work hard. They can’t just get away with the loss.
