Coach in shock after fake catch fools runner

Just popping in to say everyone should watch more college baseball (especially the higher levels) because it’s incredible. And from now through June is when it’s at its peak. Last 3 regular season weekends, conference tournaments, a month of postseason play.

Crazy, I did something like that playing summer league at 14 years old and it worked but I throw home and my arm was just hanging after the throw. LMAO. But it worked. Got the runner out and we won the game. Wish we thought of recording games back then.

In 1994 little league I was given a warning and the runner was allowed to advance when I deke'd an opposing runner doing the same thing at 3rd base

Holt said he threw to third because he didn't think there was any way the guy would run after the he had to go back and tag up again. He figured it was the safest throw.
