Another game where they should have leaned on Henry more in the 4th. Bateman stepped up and played well but that last play he clearly was not on the same page as Lamar. Dumb penalties, giving up big plays on D and not running the ball enough killed us this game

The defense has to be much better. The offense cannot be as effective without the two top WRs. That just not how football works. The defense needs to be able to finish drives with pass rush and to finish games with pass rush. Today they were awful in the big moments, truly awful.

The real issue is that 3rd down defense. They had them in 3rd and long consistently and were at their worst in that situation. They could not get pressure on the money down, and the secondary got torched for huge plays. New season, same crap. 💩
