Coaches are experts at preaching discipline without demonstrating it. Players are too smart now. They've seen and heard everything. Every coach talks about: Show up early Work harder than everyone else Make sacrifices for the team Be disciplined in everything you do Then they show up late to meetings,... skip workouts, and break their own rules. Why Nick Saban dominated: He was the most disciplined person in that building. When he demanded discipline, he was already out in front doing it. The leadership truth: You can't demand what you don't demonstrate. This applies everywhere: Managers preaching work-life balance while sending emails at midnight Parents teaching honesty while lying to avoid responsibilities CEOs demanding cost-cutting while increasing their own compensation Your team doesn't listen to what you say. They watch what you do.show more

What separates the truly disciplined from everyone else? Everybody can adhere to a discipline while everything's fine and dandy, and nothing unpredictable happens. But, a truly disciplined person knows that the real test of discipline is sticking to it when everything goes to hell. Your most important workout will be the one you improvise at home when the gym was unexpectedly closed; Your most important practice session will be the one you put in when you're stressed and exhausted because everything went wrong at work; Your most important day of working on your business will be the one when you show up in spite of just having had your heart broken. "But you have to be flexible!" Deciding you'll go to the gym later than usual because you had to work overtime is being flexible. Deciding you'll skip the gym altogether because you're "too tired" is not flexibility — it's laziness. Disciplined people understand that discipline is non-negotiable. They understand the value of time, of consistency, of momentum, and that it's far easier to just keep the ball rolling rather than letting it stop and then having to get it rolling again, over and over. Disciplined people DON'T BREAK THE CHAIN.

Jamie Dimon says by the time you walk into an interview, the verdict is already in before you sit down. Their most important questions are answered by your energy: • Are you honest? • Do you work hard? • Do you show up on time? • Would your peers like you? • Would you take responsibility when you make a mistake? He says you can know all of that and never meet the person. Your reputation walks into the room before you do. Then he asks deeper questions about their life. He asks where they grew up, what their parents did, how many siblings they have. He wants to know the person first. He says most interviewers are so busy trying to impress the candidate that they forget to actually dig deep. — Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase

Mack Brown shares a can't miss message on habits and success. "If your habits do not lead to your dreams - change your habits." "If I'm not doing the things that I need to do to be successful out here, figure out why and do it. You wanna do it. It's easy to do." Then he delivered the real truth: "It's not what you're capable of doing. It's what you're willing to do." "You are all capable or you wouldn't be here. Every one of you. All of you are really good or they wouldn't have brought you in." "But what are you willing to do?" Many are capable, few are COMMITTED. "Now you should make the choice to be the best you can be and do what you were brought here to do and be a great teammate." You win through your habits and how you show up. The first choice is to show up. The next choice is to commit. Commit, show up, do the work, and stack the days. (🎥Texas Women's Swimming & Diving)

Nick Saban - Hiring Coaches & Program Culture/Standards Hiring Coaches - Character - Communication - Knowledge - Developing Relationships Program Culture/Standards - "You have to define the culture/standards for the players. So they know exactly what you expect from them." - "When they don't do those things, no matter what they are, you have to confront them. You have to show them that these behaviors that you're defining for them are actually going to help them accomplish the goals that they have." - "I think it's very important that you sit down players and know what their goals are. Everyone needs to have goals and a vision for what they want to do. They have to understand what they have to do to do it and they have to be willing to do those things. But they also have to edit their behavior to be able to do those things and they have to have enough discipline to execute it every day."

“You cannot make a choice and then sit back and wait for what God will put in your hands. While you are waiting for God to place things in your hands, he has already given you those hands to use, he gave you arms to work and sustain yourself, and be able to live as the dignified human being he created you to be. That is what is supposed to guide us, that is what should determine the path we follow. We were able to overcome our bad history, but what was the goal? It was for people to live well, and make progress; for the country to develop, and to build a country where Rwandans are proud of who they are and where they are going. And where they are the ones to decide what to do with their lives. Everything else, the support we receive, the partnerships, can only build on that.” President Kagame | Interview with RBA.

This family ordered pizza to be delivered. The Dominos driver finds the house and then proceeds to back up into the driveway. He hits their truck while doing so. Amazingly, he gets out and doesn’t even look for the damage. He grabs the pizza hot carrying case and proceeds to go give them their pizza. 🤯 Just before he pulled in, their son was outside with his girlfriend and they saw it. I’m guessing the driver was hoping he had not seen it. But the son had gone inside and told his parents. They said the driver didn’t mention anything and proceeded to deliver their pizza. But, they mentioned it and told them they saw it. They walked out to the truck but apparently he hit the tire and luckily there was no damage. They let it go at that. That’s what they said! 🤷‍♂️ Everyone makes mistakes, but, you should be teaching your kids to own up to their mistakes and as an adult, you don’t pretend you didn’t make one. 💯 Would you let it go at that? Would you call his location and let them know what happened? Or, would you just let it go like they did? Whatever happened to honesty and integrity?

Geno Auriemma shares how he explains success to his players and why showing up isn't enough. "If you go to class and you do average work, you're gonna get a C. That's why it's called average." "If you want a B, you have to do more work. If you want an A, you have to do even more work and you have to give up stuff." You get what you earn in life. "You have to sacrifice. Maybe you can't do all the things that everybody else does." It means if you want more then you have to be willing to do more. "If you're just happy getting Bs all your life, there's nothing wrong with that either. But you're never gonna get the satisfaction of what it feels like to get an A." Then he connected it to basketball: "If you just wanna be average, then you do average work. If you wanna be a little bit above average then you do a little more work." "If you wanna get As in basketball, then you gotta do stuff that other people aren't willing to do - especially if you have the talent like we do. We have talent." It means bring a mindset of excellence to everything that you do. Excellence isn't the goal - it's the standard you set. Then he called out the entitlement problem: "Some of these younger guys coming out of high school, man, they wanna show up and go, 'I'm here. Where's my 3.7?'" "Like my father used to say, 'I got your 3.7 right here.'" Showing up doesn't earn you anything. Doing the work does. You get the grade you earn - in school, in basketball, and in life. It's easy to be average...successful people look to compete in everything they do. (🎥UCTV Sports )

Dan Lanning explains the leadership trait that separated Nick Saban and Kirby Smart from everyone else: “Coach Saban was the definition of consistency. At times, you almost felt like you were dealing with a robot because of how methodical he was in his approach.” “He just didn’t get flustered.” “The sun was going to come up tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. in Tuscaloosa, and Nick Saban was going to be in the office at 7:30 eating the same snack before the same staff meeting.” “You got to see that level of consistency every single day.” “You also got to watch his decision-making process: ‘We’ve got to fix this. How are we going to make it better?’” “I always felt like he and Kirby Smart both didn’t care who you were. If you had some sort of value you could add to the program, they wanted to know what you knew.” “If you were a janitor in the corner of the room and had a blitz package that was going to be good against that team, he wanted to see it.” “It didn’t matter who the person was. If you could bring value to the organization, he wanted to tap into it.”

Nick, You told people to not vote for Trump, and then you complain nonstop that you have no influence. You used your group to run billboards against Trump during the 2024 election in swing states and you said we would be better off if Kamala were in office. What stories are you breaking? What are you doing to actually help our country as oppose to bitch and cry all day about how censored you are? I was censored too and I kept working hard. You forget that I was banned on more platforms than you, but you can’t ever admit that because it shatters your claims that Jews are never censored. You lie to make a point while you ignore how I too was debanked and censored. You don’t seem to want to work. I work hard everyday breaking stories that expose immigration abuse, and waste, fraud and abuse in the government. I work over 100 hours every week breaking stories of NATIONAL IMPACT. What are you doing? Why would you have access when all you do is attack President Trump? Listen to your own words. I clipped your own clip for you. Just shut the fuck up. You are your own worst enemy and you should start to internalize that. You are resentful and jealous and nobody can take credit for my own tenacity and drive aside from myself. I have worked incredibly hard while you sit on the sideline making EVERY SINGLE ISSUE IN THE WORLD about a foreign country while you call Trump a “scam artist”. I earned my influence with my own hard work. Try working sometime.

Brian Shaw explains why Phil Jackson had to coach Kobe differently during the first three Lakers Championships: "Phil had no problem cussing Shaq out or getting on Shaq, but he would never say anything to Kobe early on." "So I have German Shepherds and they are protection trained.. And my dog trainer always said to me the first six to eight months that you had his puppy don't ever tell it no because what we want to do is we want this dog to be so confident that he feels like he could do everything." "The discipline part can come later on, once his confidence is at a certain point." "So he gonna chew up your house dig up your yard or whatever. You just got to deal with it let your dog do what it feels like, he's the dude, he's the man." "When we had the team meeting and I remember asking Phil how come you don't never say nothing to Kobe, I mean you always say everything to Shaq, you don't say nothing to Kobe... and he said because for this team we always need Kobe to be in attack mode." "And then that immediately made me think about what my dog trainer said about my German Shepherd needs to be in attack mode, and it was exactly what our team needed." "Shaq came from a disciplinary his father was his stepfather was military. Yes sir, no sir, and whatever you asked him to do, told him to do. He was obedient." "Kobe was that German Shepherd puppy that nobody ever said no to... He had sisters, he was the only boy, father played in the NBA, and he was the The Golden Child..." "Phil nurtured that confidence in him, at the expense of the rest of us on the team, getting the brunt of him yelling and screaming and what have you. But not saying a whole lot to Kobe.." "But we needed that, he was always in attack mode." "You talk about Phil just knowing personalities and how to kind of Coach everybody differently... Phil Jackson was the only man for that job."

Aaron Glenn was asked if he prefers to build the team's ecosystem and then put in a young quarterback or vice versa: "I think it depends on, where's your team at right now? You always look at that. Do you have the talent or the skill on the outside, in the backfield to be able to say, 'listen, we're going to get a rookie quarterback and let those guys make plays for him.' Do you have a guy already? And usually if you have a guy, he can make the skill players look better than what they are, too. To me, it always depends on who you have. That's why I want to answer that question, because it's tough to answer just straight on."

WOW 🚨 Smart TVs not only caught recording everything you say but they also are recording while powered off This isn’t a conspiracy, this is actually in their user agreements you sign and LG even got caught collecting conversations “Buried in the fine print in Samsung's own privacy policy, it literally says please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured. Yes, they told you not to say private stuff near your TV because it's always listening. (Samsungs own agreement is shown in this video and very clearly says they’re always recording everything you say) LG was caught doing the same, collecting conversations, tracking your viewing habits and sending it back to their servers even when you weren't watching anything. This voice data gets sent to third party analytic firms. They say it's for better user experience but they don't say who else gets to peek at your private conversations. So one question. Ask yourself why does your TV need to know what you're talking about at dinner? Why would they warn you unless they knew it was going to be abused?“

No one seems to be talking about the fact Reform didn't have the result they hoped for in the Welsh election. They fell well short of what they said they'd get. They only got 29% of the vote. You can't be the voice of the people if over 70% of the people demonstrably don't want you to be their voice. Why do you think Farage didn't show up? He doesn't want to be associated with falling short. We saw this when they lost in Caerphilly last year, he was no where to be seen.

Nick Saban shares what transformational leadership really looks like and the trap most leaders fall into. "If you're in any kind of managerial position, I think you should define your job the same way: Provide the leadership to develop the relationships to help people create and accomplish the opportunities that they have, and help them establish the discipline they need to do it." Then he broke down what leadership actually is: "Leadership is about helping somebody else, affecting somebody else for their benefit. Not for your benefit - for their benefit." "If you're doing it for your benefit, it's manipulation. And people can see right through that." That's the line right there... Leadership serves others. Manipulation serves yourself. "You gotta develop a relationship, because they gotta know you care. Hard to affect people if they don't think you care about them." Then he called out where most leaders spend their time: "How do you spend all your time? If you're a manager, you spend all your time with the people who don't do the right things. I call them energy vampires." "We got 5 guys on our team - they don't go to class, they don't do the right thing in practice, they loaf all the time. Those are the guys I meet with every day. They're energy vampires." So he made a commitment: "I'm gonna meet with 3 guys who didn't do anything wrong every day to see how they're doing. To make sure they know I care about them, their family, and what's happening in their life." "I wanna have a relationship with those people, so that when I need to affect them, I have a chance to do it." "People gotta know you care. If they think you only care about yourself, they're gonna think you're just a manipulator and you're not really going to affect them in a positive way." "You gotta serve other people." The core of servant leadership is wanting to see others at their best. It's not about control, it's about serving others. (🎥 CBT Automotive)

"Discipline is the ability to choose for yourself. But if you are free to choose for yourself, you are also free to experience the consequences of your choices. People love to be free to make their own choices, but when the consequences from their choices come, they want freedom from those consequences. It doesn't work like that. Discipline typically gets associated with punishment, compliance with rules, or obedience to authority. And I don't know about you but I don't wake up in the morning wanting to just be an obedient person to whatever an authority tells me to do. I don't wake up in the morning wanting to be compliant with a set of rules. I wake up and I want to produce things. I wake up and I want to be in control of myself. I want to make choices. I want to make decisions. I don't want to wake up and be a robot that just follows what everybody else says to do. If you're going to make choices, then discipline means you're more intentional about your choices and actions. You have a more clear purpose behind them. You have higher standards. You put in more effort. You're more in control of those choices. And you bring more skill to them. Discipline means to be in control and making the decisions on how all those things are happening for you."

Dabo Swinney shares his mindset on toughness and why smooth hands don't get rings. "I love the Rocky movies, man. We live modern, but we train old." "That's a mindset so that you don't lose the perspective." Then he said something every team needs to hear: "You just fall in love with the grind. It's a grind, and you gotta love it." You can't be successful if you just love the results and hate the process. You have to show up and earn it every day. "Our strength coach always says, 'They don't put championship rings on smooth hands.' You gotta put the work in." "The quality of the construction is based on the commitment of the crew...You gotta have guys and coaches and staff that are committed. That's my job every year: to make sure that we have that in place." There are no shortcuts, you have to show up and do the work. • It means commitment. • It means toughness. • It means sacrifice.

Notre Dame DC Chris Ash - What Players Want in a Coach & Accountability Every player wants 3 things in a coach: - A coach he can trust (Character). Do what you say you will do. - A coach that cares about them (Connection). Get to know them outside of football. - A coach that makes them better (Competence). Help your players be their best. - A negative environment creates negative thoughts. - A positive environment creates the power of possibilities. - A player can become what we constantly tell him he can be. Accountability - Coaches must take accountability for their responsibility. Own it! - Don't ask the players to do something you are unwilling to do. - No BCD. It will ruin us from within. It doesn't solve or change anything. Blame others. Complain about what we don't have. Defend poor play. - Never blame a game on a player. - Don't focus on what a player can't do, figure out what he can do and focus on that.

Clint Eastwood on why other people's opinions don't matter: Clint is asked whether he worries more now, or less, about what other people think of him as a person. He says: "I don't really worry too much about that. People have to think what they think. You can't go out and sell some image to them. That would be false to begin with." He continues: "So you just go ahead and do your work and people will form an opinion about you, good, bad or otherwise. It's up to them. It's not anything you can control anyway. So why bother with it? Why worry about it?" Then he lays out the only standard worth measuring yourself against: "If you live your life and you try to do as well as you can for your community, and be helpful, and do the best work you can, be the best mate or parent you can, then that's the best you."

Michael Jordan breaks down the absolute true mindset of a champion. "First of all you got to believe in yourself. You got to have a passion. You got to put forth the work." "Discipline means you have to really decide on that you want to be a winner. And when someone tries to take you to go do things that's not focused on being a winner you have to be disciplined to say you know what, I got to stay to what I have to do." "For people who skip those steps and think they just show up on Sunday, I don't want nothing to do with them."
