Apparently, I saw this video online and I decided to share. What this worker is applying is called bitumen, or what many of us know as bituminous coating. Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. Concrete and blocks have microscopic pores that pull water from the earth through a process we call capillary action. This thick black substance is the shield that stops that water from climbing up into the house. It is not about making the wall look good because this part will be buried under the dirt forever. It is about creating a skin that water cannot breathe through. When do you need to do this? The need for this arises because the soil is a very aggressive environment. Water is not your only enemy.. The ground also contains salts and sulfates that want to eat away at the cement. If this moisture finds its way to the steel bars inside the columns, those bars will start to rust. And when steel rusts, it expands, and that expansion is what cracks the concrete from the inside out. This coating is the only thing standing between your foundation and that kind of slow destruction. Thats is why if you see wet patches at the bottom of your walls inside your house, it usually means someone skipped this step or did it poorly during construction. You can apply this anytime you are building parts of a structure that will stay in contact with the ground. It is common in areas where the water table is high or where the soil stays damp for most of the year. This is a one-shot opportunity. Once you backfill the soil, you can never go back to fix it without a lot of expense and a lot of digging. It is about having the foresight to protect the heart of the building while it is still exposed. Please don’t ignore this if you need to. If you ignore it now to save a bit of money, you will be funding the future decay of your own home. I hope this helps.

First of all you strap to bench “106kg” which I don’t even need for 140kg, so from the look of things we can tell who the “lil boy” is Second, there is no aspect of fitness you are better than me at, Be it lifting, running, calisthenics, and educating etc You lot seem to have this weird mentality that sh*tting on people’s work and mocking their form makes you look like the better and smarter one, all for what? getting clients?, you do fitness to fill your pockets(that’s if you have people dumb enough to trust you as a trainer with your chaotic training methods) , I do fitness to shine light on the industry and create opportunities for people who want to enter the industry(I have videos to back my claim) You are not worth the back and forth “PAUL BLISS” cos clearly if it wasn’t for me no one would have paused to see who that is, buh I just had to use this opportunity to make somethings clear, if you want to be a fitness influencer face your front and do your work, and if you must, correct people in a respectful way and not try to make them look stupid. JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. I hope I get to do this for the rest of my life… Full of gratitude and lots of all the lovely emotions. Thank you so much.”

People say running is bad and that it makes you look old and wastes away your muscle People are dumb That only happens if you run for to long at to high of a heart rate If you run at 130-140 beats per minute with a smile on your face it’s actually some of the best therapy there is If you are running and you can’t smile and it looks like you are in agony and can’t hold a pleasant conversation you are doing it wrong and that’s what will cause you to look old and frail This is called “the sweet spot” folks and it can be used for way more than just running

I’m trying to get this intersection fixed on Market in the Castro in front of Bar 49. I shot this video yesterday while walking to dinner. Anytime of day you can see cars aggressively almost hitting people in the crosswalk. This is because this intersection is so wide that, for one of the right turns on green, you can’t see the pedestrian crosswalk signal at all and you have time to speed up heading towards this crosswalk. Many of these drivers assume you are jaywalking even though you have 20 seconds left to walk. This leads to some frequent aggressive behavior and near misses with pedestrians. The drivers assume this configuration wouldn’t have the crosswalk active at that time - and I agree that it shouldn’t be.
