Yes sir he is. If they have 8 in the box, you've got to either be fine with cutting one loose and him getting caught in the trash (Which happens a lot), but you probably don't wanna live in that world all the time, so then you'd have to RPO that guy and make him slow down!

Now, add a Q run in there and now we are hat for hat😎 but if not we are “teeing it high, and letting it fly”.

Yeah play 11-on-11 football and give the DC nightmares!!

I don’t understand why we aren’t cutting the backside 3 and reading the end if we feel comfortable with this same QB running speed option. Now you get a ACE to your Mike here and you’re a hat for a hat, by blocking the center back and pushing your tackle out you are extremely exposed to any inside run blitz plays dead.

Yeah Speed Option has always been a good way to kill the Bear! Yeah I could see G Down as well!

We didnt see a lot of Bear last year because we run a lot of outside runs. In the goalline we would go heavy/unbalanced and run G Down, or QB Power getting an extra blocker.

Love it!! Yeah, if you're running outside, then there's no point in crowding the middle with the DL!

Center is already step behind because he has to snap. Tough block to then get over to the 3tech. The last man in line of scrimmage you could read honestly. Don’t need to block him

All valid points, but is your BST gonna cut that 3T on your Gap plays all night long? That is tough

We are mostly gap team. We do cut. Duo - double with backside guard. Let last man go. Get movement inside. Counter- cut Power- cut ISO - fan backside Sweep- fan out, backside guard up to LB let 3 go and read him for QB to pull and run straight off him. Trap- cut

I hear ya!! Straight getting after it!! How much Bear do ya'll see? We usually get Bear Front once teams figure they cannot stop us up front, and it is just something they run to.

Decent amount. Try to keep folks out the box spreading them out. Throw the NOW and smoke screens. Quick passes.

You have to match the bodies and you have to off tackle outward, or you better have a great screen/quick game, which is the outward part of it. Hint: speed option

You can, and if you have the means, you definitely would rather throw the ball versus the Bear front, but that wasn’t the drill!
