Seeing as I've already trashed your AI written policy paper, I wouldn't go bragging about your fancy Coastal Command, when you can't even answer simple questions, like: 1. Where exactly are you stopping them? French territorial waters, the Dover Strait, or UK territorial waters? Different locations have different legal and operational implications. 2. How are you stopping them? Shadowing, interception, physical obstruction, boarding, diversion, or rescue? These are not interchangeable operations. 3. What happens when they refuse to comply? An overcrowded inflatable with no competent master presents a very different problem from a merchant vessel complying with a boarding request. 4. Where are you taking them? Back to France, to the United Kingdom or somewhere else? What agreement or legal authority permits that transfer? 5. What happens after interception? Who receives custody, processes claims, authorises detention and secures removal? 6. How does any of this reduce subsequent departures? Increasing the number of people intercepted and brought ashore does not, by itself, demonstrate that the flow of crossings will cease.
