Cocky Aikido practitioner gets destroyed by real fighter!

Unfortunately, some dudes just fight like that... no matter how much training they get, they're just not built to fight.

This is less about aikido vs BJJ than it's about a guy who doesn't like to fight vs a guy that likes to fight.

The problem with traditional martial arts styles is that they don't do enough live sparring. They drill very rigid, specific katas that's honestly not applicable to a real fight that's chaotic & unpredictable. If they prioritized live sparring, they could still be effective.
