Three protestors stood up and started chanting “end fossil fuels”. Two have been ejected, one remains in his seat surrounded be security. Near 15-minute delay to this match now.

Unclear if the remaining protestor has attached himself to his seat as he’s not been removed. Players off court while this is being resolved.

Protestor has glued his feet to the ground.

Protestor being cuffed by police, at least a dozen officers in attendance now. Three trying to free his glued feet.

Final protestor has been escorted out of the stadium. Players likely to return to court shortly. It’s been a 35-minute delay.

Mandatory 2 year prison sentence...that would stop this nonsense and the streaking pranks etc

I’m a big fan of climate change advocacy, but this type of protest just pisses people off. The kind that informs is much more likely to be effective. We are beyond the point where just calling attention to the issue is enough. We need to be informative.

Why does it take so long to get them removed?

@ReemAbulleil ...and climate change is disrupting our world (96 degrees today). Having said that, I don't think they shouldn't do this during an event like this. It's a turn off. It hurts the cause. Take it to the streets peeps.
